Ok, this is a bit misleading. You don’t usually transfer directly to the airline you want to fly with. The point is to transfer to a partner airline that will charge you less of their points to book the same flight. United sells you a ticket for 67,000 points, but Air Canada might have that same flight for 10,000 points. It’s more annoying to redeem this way, but that’s how you’re getting the most for your points.

Stayed here for our Tokyo trip in 2024 . Great great location in the heart of Ginza, we stayed here for 1,2 days before our flight back to Seattle, got lots of shopping done since everything was close and walkable. So I recommend to stay here before heading back home to do some shopping. Only gripe - the sink is embedded on the shelf that is like not really part of the bathroom. Slightly odd, I would like more separation between bathroom and living room/bed but yea.

Great location. Breakfast was ok. Rooms are a bit small. They prioritized the shower and bathtub a bit too much I think. Stayed here 4 times last two years , never upgraded as globalist. The prices now are insane. Tokyo hotel prices in 2025 😬
