Fun fact: the mangled box actually has 2 extra evolutions packs. In Max’s 100 burning shadows pack opening he was 2 packs short, so he took out 2 burning shadows from the box and stuck some evolutions in there lol

Not gatekeeping but just history, people who have joined pokemon since 2020 haven't experienced the bargain bin sales of packs and sets in the years when people just weren't buying product, except for maybe Pokemon Go. I remember the equivalent of this in the wotc days, and around 2010. It's so great to see these opened, and also the price memory of those things being so cheap makes it hard to pay current prices on some stuff.
