Important to note that this video is old and Genshin is an ongoing game. Since this video was made Genshin added two entirely new regions, and a huge new part to Liyue. Not to mention all the optimization, quests, characters and lore. Also, when he made this video, Max0r wasn't even truly in the endgame since you can see in the footage that he doesn't have a single five star artifact.

The fact that the map was huge when he made this video and has expanded since then with more regions, underground, and interdimensional content. And is still expanding to add more regions.

I lost interest at 2 key points. 1. The lack of ability to show off myself and my characters properly. This in most games is done Via direct in person competition AKA PVP. Genshin had no PVP elements and so I quickly lost interest. 2. I just don't like the characters. The enemies are all cool n shiz but the player characters are just people in trendy clothes. My fave character was the Free maid because she had "armour" and a big mace. Not having any Gacha dreams really kills a game like Genshin. I ended up playing bootleg Genshin(Tower of Fantasy) more than Genshin itself because at least that has Character Creation to fall back on. Still neither game gave you the ability to play as one of those 9ft tall armored enemy dudes which is a real shame. Big armor waifu would bring me back to the game in a heartbeat.

genshin has this GIGANTIC beautiful world to explore, and a deep lore rich story. IF you have good self control, there's at least a good hundred hours of free gameplay to be had.

100? I’m sorry but that’s if you only play main story and bare minimal of anything else to get Adventure rank you need to continue. More then likely if you explore and do quests and events you will spend at least 300-500hours. 100hrs was true at launch though, but new regions have so much more and sumuru is dwarfs everything else.

I don't know if you guys are interested, but Genshin has a bunch of trailer videos that showcases the characters, gameplay, and story which I feel you would enjoy. Though since the game has been out for so long it could take a few hours to watch them all. Splitting the video into parts would be heavily recommended unless a 3 hour binge seems more enticing.

the thing is, the game has A LOT of content and max just barely scratched the surface. he basically didn't touch any of the story which is actually really good imo. since this video was released the dendro archon (grass god) does have playable characters lol and instead of 2 there's actually 4 regions + 3 smaller but kinda separate places in those regions. the game is really fun if you play casually and you don't rush through the content. ive been playing for almost 2 years and its come a long way. does it have problems? yeah but ive had mostly positive experiences. also, i played the game completely free until a few months ago when i spent 10 bucks i had on a gift card that was about to expire and when my cousin bought me some currency as a gift. the game is pretty f2p friendly since i mainly use units that you can get just by summoning with the currency the game gives you.

Honestly as a Genshin player myself, I say go for it.The game is meant to be a casual pastime and is easy once you understand the mechanics. The game itself is about 2 years old so you have well over 2 years worth of content,yes it’s a gacha game but it’s probably the best gacha game on the market. When I say best, I mean you don’t actually have to pay if you don’t want to the premium currency is given to you through everything you do especially if your new.. All in all anyone thinking about playing the game, go for it…. Disclaimer: DO NOT interact with the community, you will lose all brain cells

I feel like the biggest non-genshin player slander on Genshin is the fact that Genshin is p2w just because it's a gacha game. When I first started playing on day 1 of launch, it took me 2 months as a pure f2p to 36/36 spiral abyss using some guides and recommended team comps online (xiangliang, bennett, sucrose, and xingqiu being good) and the only five star that I have was Jean and Keqing at the time. I dare say this is by far the most f2p gacha game in the market or in history. It's only successful and making $4 billion in like 2 years, took FGO 6-7 years to make over $5 billion, which speaks volumes to how great the marketing for this game is while presenting itself as a casual f2p gacha game.
@vincdraws4742
@vincdraws4742 Жыл бұрын
@@Qopa Ive been with a lot of Gachas so I can say this is by far one of the fairest if not the fairest f2p gacha ive ever played (I think theres a lot like it too now that theyre seeing a balanced more f2p friendly is a lot more sustainable model than having a new meta every whenever a new unit comes out, genshin didnt start it thou, there were a lot of great f2p qualities back then too on some) Oh and before anyone adds, Having or getting more pulls than the usual does not equal a more balanced meta nor a better f2p experience, balance is more on individual units being able to reach endgame than likeliness of a f2p to get a meta unit.
@Qopa
@Qopa Жыл бұрын
@@vincdraws4742 that's definitely something that I always preached when it comes to f2p versus p2w gacha games. A lot of people would call games like Alchemist code, counter side, Honkai, Artery gear, Kings raid, Lord of heroes, Epic seven, and so forth, a bunch of f2p gacha games when theres like multiple years of grinding that entails just to catch up to other paid players or people who started before you. Or even the recent Nikke game where you will only really want to prioritize going for your main 6-12 characters when there's like 60+ characters in the game because of meta. I even heard a lot of Honkai players even say that Honkai is more f2p than Genshin because the character pity is 90 and not 180. They ignored the fact that you don't even have to pull in Genshin to even 36/36 the spiral abyss (even enviosity proves it for us). Or how getting a character by itself isn't enough to make them meta because you will still need to pull for their wep and stigmata on the weapon banner (150+ pity for everything). And f2p get like 20-30 pulls monthly, so it's literally years of saving since the pity doesn't get carry over. It's just absurd how some cherry-pick stuff when it's a strong defense against ignorant people who haven't touched their game before to defend the p2w-ness. But I guess people can be a slave to p2w gacha games when they really like the game.

As someone that plays Genshin for over two years now here’s my quick thoughts: So for the Gacha and P2W aspect you actually don’t need that,you can literally go the whole game without even opening the Gacha tab,this game unlike many other Gachas is 100% F2P friendly and there’s no item or expansion to one of your features unlocked by spending money,the only thing you get from spending money is even more Primogems which is the in-game currency used for some things,most important or these things being rolling for characters and weapons(but you can get these primogems even as a F2P just by playing the game and doing daily missions), or to buy skins for the characters (no these skins don’t up their combat abilities) Aside from that there’s also some other things i’d like to briefly mention like the story being pretty good and surprisingly dark sometimes,God tier music,the ambiance is nice,the end game can be a bit boring,characters are nice,there’s some cool events and now there’s also a permanent game card gamemode,and the English voice acting actually sounds really good now lol I may have missed something but i don’t think it’s too important,play the game casually,don’t burn yourself out,maybe spend once or twice for a character you really want and you’ll definitely have fun…JUST USE YOUR RESIN OR ELSE.

It's probably a good thing to note that the exploration and fetch quests are not as hard as maxor makes them out to be. There literally are raddishes in the village the quest he talked about takes place and they could also just be bough in any shop from a major city. And as far as material for upgrading your characters go you could just use an online resource to make it easier.

To answer your questions 1 It's not pay to win, you can grind and it's pretty balanced 2 all cooking does is heal/buff you if you have a character that doesnt 3 the stuff about segfaulting is just jokes about the fact its a Chinese game 4 there are attack ducks, crabs, squirrels, boars, swans, hawks made of water. From the water boss, which everyone hates. It's hard 5 the hilichurls are the basic enemies everywhere, so you have to fight them. 6 at first the collecting mushrooms thing is cool because the landscape and soundtrack are top notch beautiful. So once you do it so much, then it gets boring. Once you get used to the landscape/map. Also puzzles, ancient ruins, chests, collectibles, etc. 7 the daily quests are 10 minutes, and give you primogems (the main currency for character/weapon pulls. 8 the voice acting isn't that bad, it's just certain characters/voice acting jobs. 9 the story is pretty cool 10 like max0r said, its fun, Its good, but if your a compulsive gambler or have no patience, then don't play it. Definitely worth it. PLAY IT PLAY IT PLAY IT ONE OF US ONE OF US ONE OF US

Grinded for a while. Didn't get any characters I wanted, but got some characters others wanted. Hit the main grind wall after the content was done and quit. @@fightinggimmick2592 My brother in Christ, you just based your whole opinion off Twitter, huh? Well, the similarities between Genshin and BOTW are incredibly surface level. The characters, story, world-building and lore are plenty original. There is more to inclusion than just skin color. And even then there's the pale white Rosaria and four playable dark skinned characters, all of whom have different skin tones. And there's plenty dark skinned NPCs in Sumeru and especially in the Desert. "It attracts lolicons." This argument is so stupid it hurts. First, the vast majority of lolicons aren't into actual children just like how a vast majority of furries aren't into actual animals. Second, the people who like lolis in a sexual way are shunned by the community because that shit's weird (except Dori since she's just really short and not an actual kid). Third, every piece of media featuring children "attracts" pedophiles. Hoyoverse wanted some cute kid characters in their game, that's it.

When it comes to gacha games, Genshin Impact is pretty good- the story is actually decent, it is surprisingly not pay-to-win and the game is not EA levels of grind either. The main reason people spend so much money in it is because the character designs (mainly of the waifus) are amazingly done- If i did play the game, trying to get Xinyan could have emptied my wallet, but i don't play because my self-control is tenous. Going back to the character lore, it's well-done and capable of making you laugh or cry. The idea that one of the 7 gods in the world of Genshin just woke up one day and decided to give a random elf kid (Klee) explosion powers the Taliban would drool over is hilarious. There is the rock guy (Zhong li) who is basically one of the 7 gods, but he secretly decides to live in the city that worships him so he can personally make sure people pay their taxes- and yet he is constantly broke because he buys whatever catches his attention, and he can't demand money from his followers without revealing his identity. The latest Archon (a.k.a avatar of a specific god) is Nahida, who is adorable and oddly intimidating considering her potential power, but the lore in her trailers got genuine emotion out of me. Edit: Have Chavezz and Skitten played Skullgirls?

Genshin Impact is pay to win, and saying it isn't is dishonest dude. Sure, you aren't competing against others, but as a looter, the goal is better loot. If you want better loot, you have to either grind it out or pay. And I think around the time I quit was when I saw that all the currency that allowed you a decent chance of getting a higher star character was limited, and you only really earned it during special events, which means months of just waiting to be given your currency, like you're waiting on your paycheck. That's not including the fact that characters are artificially made scarce, by putting them into a rotation of availability. So even if you put in your hours and save up, you may still have to wait months more just for your character to become available to be won via the gacha. The game is kinda fun for a while, but after the content is finished, it turns into work.

@@trenvert123 people have been 3 staring final floors of abyss with 4 star characters for a long time already. Most of the events don't require an insanely strong team to build, hell some of them give away characters for a limited use. Sure it's easier to get characters by dumping shit load of money. But with the amount of currency you can earn in 2 patches you can guarantee a 5 star character. So unless you are just spending your entire life saving you're not even getting much. And as I said the hardest part of the game can be cleared with a 4star characters. One of the most busted characters is given for free and 4star characters are given away at the events every 2 patches.

Artifacts are gonna be rng regardless and talents and ascension stuff just requires you to be aware of what day of the week it is. Genshin can't be pay to win because there is literally nothing to win from spending money. There's definitely some convenience to be gained from spending money but that also depends on what your trying to get out of the game. If you're playing the game just because you want to get 5 stars then that's a self issue. Otherwise having self control and patience will do wonders for you.

Genshin stories. I play everyday because I'm saving up for a 5 star I want. The wishing system has a pity so you are guaranteed a 5 star at 90 wishes, and if you lose the 50/50 for the 5 star, your next5 star is the banner character guaranteed. I have only used money to get one character and that was just because I wasn't feeling well to build up my hoard. And the video is a bit old now since we have 4 nations to explore now. Inazuma based off Japan and Sumeru which has forest and desert! I really recommend trying it, and since it's free if you don't like it. You can always uninstall 😄

There is a vast world. And there's going to be more regions and sub-regions each year. The things like the resin/energy and daily quests are literally small parts of it. The open world has secrets to find, puzzles to do and treasures to loot, separate from all that. You could literally spend 15~ hours exploring a region and not find everything. The open world is not the least bit empty and probably has more things to see and do than most AAA open world games. I've been playing since launch and the game does keep track of whether you've found (most of) everything in region to give you percentages, and I have not 100%'d most of the regions in the game. There's a lot to do, a lot of nooks and crannies to look into. And each reward for exploration is free. The game doesn't stop you from exploring even when you're out of resin. The reason your friends tell you to just do it, is because it's something you can't "get" from hearing selling points or reviews. Because you'll always go "Well but it's a gacha game though...". Even you, watching this video, say that it seems like a vast world, but "nothing at the same time", "using little gacha tricks" to keep people playing. You just have to do it and experience it for yourself. And you'll see why it has a huge audience. Only then will you get how good the exploration feels, how gorgeous the game looks, and how much you just want to keep playing just to see what you'll find around every corner. Maxor's video is a bit old, so it only has context from the two major regions that the game launched with (the windy, green Mondstadt and mountainous, rocky Liyue) along with one sub-region (the snowy Dragonspine mountain). Right now the game has two more major regions included ( the islands of Inazuma and deserts and rainforests of Sumeru), with two more sub-regions (Enkanomiya and The Chasm, both underground). Next update they're going to expand Sumeru even further. Each region and sub-region has its own theme, puzzle mechanics, aesthetics, designs, etc. Mondstadt, for example, is based on Germany, with its element being the wind. So lots of wind-based mechanics. Inazuma on the other hand is based off Japan, with its element being electro, so lots of electricity/lightning-based mechanics and puzzles. Again, it's something you have to experience for yourself to get. Only you can witness standing on a gigantic sand dune at the very center of Sumeru's desert, looking up at the towering pyramid looming above you. The tip of which is the epicenter of a raging storm that engulfs the sky, burning it into fiery oranges and reds. It is literally one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. And the music is absolutely stellar. And I have not spent a single cent in the two years I've been playing.

English is good btw. There’s a few mishaps in Monstadt and Liyue. But it’s fixed for Inazuma and then on after. Also it’s not a dub versus sub. All of the languages are fricking amazing. Choose whatever one you want that you’re comfortable with. Also the plus of playing Genshin is the music and the story. I am a player that doesn’t give a crap about rolling dice for attractive characters which is probably why I love the game so much. Because I’m a lore and music freak.

Jesus thats such an old video. It’s definitely gotten a little better but man its just an experience at this point Edit: As far as stories go, if you care to hear, I actually started playing a year ago when my boyfriend introduced me to it. I was a little skeptical to start since the last open world rpg I ever played was Wizard 101 and I haven’t touched anything like it in years. I gave it a try and after playing through it little by little, I did enjoy it. But I almost had no idea what I was doing without my bf being there to help. Somehow I made it all the way to Liyue and since I figured I had to wait for the next update, I stopped playing for a while. I continued a few months later and somehow my brain matured enough to the point where I was actually understanding how to play the game. By that point I was rank 46. (Most players dont fully get it until rank 45-50 anyway) It’s nice to play when you have freetime and like a good, compelling story that plays like an arc to arc anime. If you choose to play, keep in mind that elements are definitely the core of combat but you really do just need to enjoy it.

@@lop90ful1 I understand that. However, the main point was about simply the voice acting. Even when the localization argument is brought up no one can differentiate the difference in the story without any concrete evidence that suggests that players who prefer EN over Jp, Cn, and so on are playing two completely different games. None of them can give examples of what are the major defining differences in the story that effects the EN players understanding of the entire story outside and inside of the rearrangement of character dialogue that doesn't take away the intention of a conversation or scene. Also, the stupid things that the voice actors have said and done are irrelevant to them voice acting characters because that's the only thing that matters.

I don't think you guys understand what a gacha game is, a gacha game in its base form and from the actual toy dispenser it was based from in Japan called Gachapon is when you spend money on a gacha machine or system that gives away a random chance of a toy/item that has differing values in rarity and depending on what you get you might break even with the money you spent on the item, double it, or just lose, essentially its a gamble but nonetheless you get something since its tangible, that is the base form of the gacha system in some games they add different items on the mix like essentials for progressions and stuff but there is always an item within that roster that will make your spending worth, so no not all gacha games are pay 2 win since you aren't exactly winning when you drown thousands of dollars to get (x amount) stars or (higher alphabet) rated items/characters, like I said its a gamble and as they say in the gambling business "the house always wins" calling it pay 2 win is like saying you won a lot of money in from the poker game when in reality you nearly just lost your entire life savings in the process, its risky but at least unlike actual gambling gacha is more merciful with its rates and they always give the players options to earn for those gacha pulls and the real life currency required to pull is lowered to give the player incentives to pull, its when it becomes an addiction that it becomes a problem and you yourself become what people call a "whale"

Typically gacha games these days are more p2w though. This is just one of the ones that isn't because you're not competing with anyone nor is it hard to do high amounts of damage as long as you know what you're doing. So no this one specifically isn't pay to win but they understand the definition pretty well
@traphimawari7760
@traphimawari7760 Жыл бұрын
@@Squ_iddy it seems pay 2 win but it isn't because even gacha games will actively limit how much you can progress with what you spend and if the game doesn't do it then the bank will due to suspicious activity so good luck actually trying to pay your way into a gacha game because some of these game still takes skill and there is still a meta to be followed like any game, lets say for example you're a very rich beginner and you plan to pay your way in the gacha system by getting some of the best 5 stars and already you run into the problem that the banner resets per month, so you might have to wait probably a year to even get the best teams in the 5 star roster, and even then your adventure rating would be so low that your characters don't matter that even at a co-op match other players will kick you for not being prepared because the gacha doesn't provide everything, its still a game and whatever is in the gacha isn't the only currency that you should worry about
@Squ_iddy
@Squ_iddy Жыл бұрын
@@traphimawari7760 I get what you're saying, but that doesn't apply to every gacha. Tower of Fantasy is a good example of this. You pay more, you get the characters you want and you rank higher. There are lots of those types where you spend more and are able to rank higher in it because of it, you probably just haven't played them yet. Games like Genshin you don't have this because there's no competition and the game is pretty easy. Pay 2 win means your growth in the game depends on how much you spend

On one hand, _Genshin_ is an ARPG in Easy Mode (you can play through all content with any team you want). On the other, the RNG determines a lot about your characters and their gear, and it's generally pretty bad. Some players get really lucky with their artifacts' main and sub stats, and what substats get rolled into when you enhance them. But I've been playing since launch, and haven't gotten any godly statted gear at all. Workable, yes, but not awe-inspiring. Fortunately you don't have to power up characters all the way with duplicates to play, so the only 5 star I have who is C6 is the main character, whose materials you get by playing through the story. The story is pretty good, and the world already pretty expansive, and we're only about halfway through the first part, so there's a lot more potential to be found here as well. Unfortunately there's no replay option for any of the quest lines, apart from creating entirely new accounts, so the only way to re-experience things is by watching others play it. As for the dailies, I've never had a notification outside the game about them. Most of them are one-offs you can get repeatedly, but some have their own quest chain. But because there's no Skip or Complete Fast button, it can get annoying having to click through all the text repeatedly. That's why Max0r says lots of people don't care about the story. They do, it's just... a lot. The gacha is significantly more fair than a lockbox system, but only because it has guarantees for eventually getting what you're after. Unfortunately, Pity is 92 pulls, and there is a chance of losing the 50/50 and getting a Standard Banner character instead of the featured limited character. And the Weapon Banner is a money pit, only slightly better than it used to be because now you only have to miss twice to get the weapon you're after, instead of never having a guarantee. But basically seen as by most as a scam. The combat is focused on using characters' elements together to generate different reactions and big numbers. Some elements don't react with each other (like Geo), and some react with specific elements (Dendro reacts with Hydro, Electro, and Pyro but not Cryo, Anemo (wind), or Geo). Max0r calls the combat the game's strength, but it isn't really, considering Hoyoverse decided _Genshin_ would always be one of their easier games. Instead, exploration and material gathering together with storytelling are _Genshin_ 's main strengths. Game companies see _Genshin_ 's relative success, and they want to duplicate it because it's cross-platform, open world, and monetized through the gacha, monthly card, and battle pass. They mostly don't know _Genshin_ is a very small and relatively unimportant part of Mihoyo / Hoyoverse's portfolio. They're a Chinese music company that makes games, started as a mobile game company. Hoyo's current portfolio includes _GunGirlZ_ , a sidescrolling hack-and-slasher, _Honkai Impact 3rd_ , a 3D actioner (and their current favourite game, and mine too), _Genshin_ of course, and _Tears of Themis_ , a police procedural starring handsome men. Upcoming games that have finished at least one closed beta test include _Honkai: Star Rail_ , which has turn-based combat, and _Zenless Zone Zero_ , a roguelike. They had a shooter under development, but cancelled that since something under the hood wasn't working right, and their other known project is a driving game. Never the same game twice with these people. It's this diversifying that other companies should be copying, but all they seem to see is _Genshin_ .

Okay lootcrates arent gacha games. Gacha games are defined by several things. The biggest one is the fact that the randomized drop using premium currency is the *central mechanic of power progression*. Nearly as important: the currency used to roll the gacha must be farmable, so it is possible to play for free, but the grind is tedious enough to entice you to spend. Finally, and this is the most optional, one of the things that entices you to spend is conventionally atractive people in the gacha. Summoners war is an outlier: if fulfils the first two, but while the characters are aesthetically pleasing, most of them couldnt really be called 'hot'.

Selling point? Honestly, just try it. LoL, seriously though, it's hard to find a single selling point, everyone has something they love about it. To me, it's a Gacha Game that feels more like an Epic Open-World RPG, It is Gacha, but most players spend Zero on it. You are encouraged to play daily, but those that love the game look forward to playing every day and don't see it as a chore. I look forward to playing every day, even if for only 30 minutes or so to do my Dailies and other essential items. There is new content every 6 weeks, at least 1 new playable character per Patch, and lots of Exploration to do. I love the exploration, music, characters, and the story. Honestly, I'd pay $70 up front and $5/month subscription if this were a normal MMORPG version of Genshin Impact, and I do occasionally spend money, mostly $5 per month on a Welkin Moon. You can watch some of the Version videos and/or Character Demos on KZbin if you need more convincing before downloading and trying Genshin Impact. I've been since the early days, still enjoy playing every day.

Selling point? I would say it's the little things. Here's 2 examples: I was in the 3rd region, Inazuma, and suddenly a granny I have passed by plenty had a quest. She just wanted me to find her granddaughter...but the way she spoke made me realize granny was a retired Ninja....yeah..lol. 2nd bit, there's a kid by brother found on the 1st region named Arthur and he's....staring at a sword, saying he needed to be the one to unstuck it from the ground...I laughed so hard at that one, and played for years and never saw the kid until I was told he was there, I must have walked past him 100+ times. More on the gameplay aspect, the "grind" in the game is only to get stronger (duh but hear me out) yet funny enough, you never really "have" to get stronger. The game has no pvp nor ranking system and there are specific quest that you choose to do in order to increase the levels of the monsters around. Exp is a currency so killings things don't lvl u up, but drop better stuff to improve you "stats" (oversimplifing, but it will do). An advice, react to the version trailers or the character demos, try it out for a bit, don't spend, and play super casual and stay low level. It's only pride or gambling addiction for the waifu/husbandos random gasha rolls that makes the game look uninviting to new players. As a final note, I stoped playing it recently. I once had a boss fight that was so fun, that suddenly thinking of getting stronger seemed like a waste, since the game won't scale harder. I'll just go back when more main story drops, play it, and then drop it again till next time. If the keep a region (new story progression) per year, then they have already a roadmap for the next 4 years....I mean, option 3 would be to wait till then to try it....heh ...

6:22 Regarding the ring 0 kernel permissions from the games anti cheat: It basically means that you have to give the anti cheat software admin access to your computer. Lots of anti cheat tools require ring 0 permissions these days. Personally I don't play this games because "anti cheat software" sounds totally harmless, but if you think about it: This tool can basically enable the developers not just to control your computer, but also to monitor everything you do on that machine at all time. If they have kernel 0 access they can watch what you do on your pc, they can steal your information, pictures.. everything and in theory they could even use your pc for whatever they want in the background without you even noticing it. Giving total strangers kernel 0 access is in my opinion dangerous. It's like giving the keys to your house to a total stranger. It could work out, everything could be fine and in most cases it probably would be fine.. but the stranger could also come and murder you in your sleep, thanks to you giving them your keys. If you have valuable data on your pc I always recommend not giving any game this kernel 0 access.. it's a huge security risk, because you give strangers from (in this case) asia free reign over your computer, hoping they won't do anything shady with it..

The gacha is about desire for particular characters rather than making the game easy. (The game is as easy as you want it to be without needing anything but what chance gives you.) The side effect is, the producers regularly create magnificent character promotional videos. In the normal course of the game we get random rock solid characters and chances at the special characters - but if you're a compulsive collector who insists on possessing a particular special character, then you might need to pay for extra chances. A normal player will never notice the gacha aspect.

Yup actually i been playing this game for 2 years i didn't even spend a cent in the game.. the game is free, the money talking is where you want to get specific character, the currency to pull character is actually free too you can get em if you do quest and exploring. But you don't want to grind then that's where you spend money. And the story is awesome.. the emotions and plot really unpredictable and emotional rollercoaster sometimes

The thing I have with Genshin Impact is... I don't play it as intended. I'm more into the free roam aspect of the game than the story and maybe, from time to time, I'll attempt to pull on a specific character banner. I only stopped playing it, because it 1.) Drains your battery extremely fast if your playing on mobile. 2.) Makes your mobile device extremely hot. 3.) Takes up about more than half of your devices available storage (Not including storage taken from built-in apps), and it's still updating to use more storage to this day. However this is from my viewpoint as a mobile user. It might be better fitted for Playstation.

I saved up for Zhongli banner rerun, It surprisingly only took 20 pulls to get him. Then I pulled for his weapon and got 2 copies of it on my 4th or 5th 10 pull.❤ pulled for and obtained both Nuevillette and his weapon the following update.❤

You could watch the character demos and the version trailers, or even better make a reaction video from this, I believe a lot of Genshin players here would just love watching you do that. Also, you can then see if you are interested enough to actually start playing it, or just skip it. But beware, since we are "from the future", we currently have four nations with a lot of additional characters, so reaction videos like this tend to be quite long.
