I got the JetBoil to fit in the 10x4. Jammed in there with no room for anything else but it did fit. Fits the 12x5 with room to spare.

I've REALLY been getting into the Maxpedition products lately.. and every bag, pouch, back ect I've searched for.. it's taken me to your video! lol :) That's awesome that you have all this gear. I've loved ALL the vids, great reviews. You've helped me make up my mind about what bag I'm getting next :)

OMG you could not have made a more perfect video for me. I wanted the bottle holder for my Camelbak 750ml bottle, and there you had one. I wanted to see it on a Vulture II, you had one. I wanted to see a direct size comparison between the Vulture II and a Falcon II, you had them. You even gave me the idea that I could use a RolyPoly as well as or instead, which I hadn't considered. That was almost a bespoke video. Thank you so much for your efforts.

@RoscoeBa Great video but why on earth are you running the compression straps over the bottle holder? Run it between the pack and bottle holder, while you're weaving the molle straps together. Added bonus is that it keeps the strap in place while it's unbuckled.

I have one of these attached to the side of my 5.11 Tactical Rush Moab 6 and it works perfectly. It holds a 1L Sigg Water Bottle. I highly recommend it!

Dang, the secret of the 10x4 and the Camelback bottle is out! I like this particular pouch a lot due to its versatility. If you put a steel cup on the bottom of your nalgene bottle and your spork, etc. in the pouch on the side, you've got yourself a nice mess kit good to go. However more often I just slip in my glasses case and a cliff bar or granola bars or something. Or sometimes I empty that and put in the multitool, etc. It actually makes a pretty good minmalist "bag" all by itself.

and does the falcon 2 stand up on its own or when its packed does the bottom round out and it fall over?

will it fit the swiss vocano stove all assembled? that would be cool
@RoscoeBa12 жыл бұрын
haha Very creative! We did haul a bottle of wine up to the White Mountains and the problem with that is, you have to haul it all the way back down. Babysitting the whole while that it doesn't smash in your bag. Your idea is a cool one though! ;)

Hey Roz, thanks for the vid and great job at it...quick question, how does the 12*5 fit onto the vulture-2? I have the 12*5, and I've been contemplating on purchasing the vulture2 for a while now, but I want the 12by5 to be able to attach at the side with no problem, is this going to work ok for me? Thanks again Roz.

i gotta say, im really lovin all your reviews while im watching them in my head im thinking oh it would be nice to see this and then you do it in the video i really like that maxpedition went with the "rescue orange" it looks great now only if they made their accessories in orange id like to see the 10x4 or maybe the FAK in it to contrast with the foliage sitka im about to get because of your review! thanks so much for that !!! 2 quick questions though how does the orange go with your ACU sitka?

Hi, do you like the gearsling series
@RoscoeBa11 жыл бұрын
I'm going to say no as the Proteus is only a couple inches tall and it might be too unwieldy/unbalanced with the bottle holder attached.

Thx all you paracord worshipers! lol Yes, I'd like to do a quick vid on making that thing. Using the same exact technique: 3" its an extender, 8" its a bracelet and 40-50" its a strap. SRB and paracord is all you need.

@afterthefox7 @v4venger Condor makes crap knockoffs. The old saying "buy cheap, buy twice" applies. Condor is reknown for stealing other companies' designs and using substandard, non-milspec materials. Go ahead, buy Condor... you'll be replacing it sooner than later.
