I have this bag in black. Smaller than i thought first time i received it. But then i found this bag is the best for edc and i feel like the size is becoming perfect to carry everyday wherever i go. Very durable and very nice design too! I like it alot.

Good video. Not too much, and not too little in regards to what you packed. Good job not over stuffing which I can be prone to do. And thanks for keeping the video short and sweet. Too many videos on this subject go on forever. Brevity is a quality in short supply on KZbin. Keep up the good work.

Good kit man. I would add a trash bag to it. One of those thick plastic big contractor trash bags. You never know if you will need a big bag for something. You can also cut a head hole and arm holes into it and use it for a poncho if you needed to. Or use it for a tarp.

I love the design (and its size) of this bag. I own one. Problem is this bag is a little too heavy for its size. I live in the humid hot area in indonesia. The small rubber coated hard cover at the front become sticky after sometimes which i hate! I dont know if its because of the humid condition in my room or something else. But i am sure i never pour any liquid on that hard cover. I have direct action bags - the DUST MK2 and DragonEgg mk2. Compared to my riftcore..i think i prefer those over riftcore in term of comfort. Riftcore would be my last AGR buy. I also own some other Legacy bags from maxpedition. And i think i prefer Legacy over AGR series. My personal opinion only. Nice video and review!

@@zerofivetwelve Yea bro, same heree Us who live in places that are warm and humid suffer with sweaty backs from wearing backpacks without air suspension systems. Naturally I understand that military grade gear needs tô be as tough and resistant as possible, só dont usually include these types of suspension systems. But I dont really need something that tough so i'm happy with my recreatioanal rücksacks from osprey and katonka that have airflow mesh suspension, waaay better for hot climates

Do you think the color is uniform gray or there are variations in the color? Because according to the videos I watch, the color is sometimes gray green, other times anthracite gray. I sometimes even see 3 types of gray on the bag. Thank you for your work.

Great job on the review. I wish these bags weren't so expensive, but then again quality is sacrifice on cheaper brands. I do particularly like the handgun holster compartment on this bag as I carry a full size m&p 45 and it looks like it would fit just fine in there.
@hyped23157 жыл бұрын
Thanks! actually there is another compartment for concealing your handgun! the one I showed is just for adding extra mags / medical etc... I totally missed this back when I did the review. so theres 2 places to put ur gun, and the other one is way better hidden.

@KillSwitch803 жыл бұрын
I know this is 10 months late but.. I ordered the riftpoint at first and ended up giving it to my girlfriend because it’s just too small. It looked like one of those mini backpacks that women wear which is why my girlfriend loves it. I ordered the riftcore. Waiting for it to come in

Very well done video and review. Very nice selection of items. I have all the old Max gear, but have been looking at this pack. I do have the FRP pouch. I still have not made my mind up about the new material Maxpedtion is using. The old stuff is built like a tank. I guess you popped up on my side feed because I just did a Maxpedition Aftermath review. That is how I came across your channel. Good luck with your channel and welcome to the community. SS/SS - Stan

Thanks for the kind words! Actually I was a bit skeptical because there was a couple people saying its not up to the same quality levels. I have not used it enough yet to know, but all the materials and craftsmanship is top notch. stitching is perfect. Considering the size and intended use of the backpack I think its more then adequate so far. And the zipper pulls are awesome. ;)

Also have you tried attaching some of your organizers to the outside of the bag to free up space in the main compartment?

If you carry actual food not just some granola bars or "energy" shots , you'd make space over time. Boy was probably starting with EDC, if he actually used the bag and it's content he had to realise most of it useless for EDC.

Well I usually just take it to my car and leave it in there until the end of the day. I may carry it with me for certain situations but mostly just carry stuff on my person. I just have it in my car as backups to my other stuff. I will probably use for hiking as well.

Not a bad selection of gear but I would be more interested in what you post two months from now when all your stuff isn't so squeaky clean and you have had a chance to try out what you are carrying in real life. Trust me, you will be fine-tuning, but I am subscribing because I want to see how you do. I won't wish you good luck because what we do is all about knowledge and skill...luck doesn't factor.

I had a previous version of this Advanced gear Research sling that the top pouch had the soft touch rubber material and while sitting in the coolest for a few years it became super sticky and unusable. I contacted Maxpedition customer service about this issue, I got a reply basically said the issue is wear and tear, while I like Maxpedition and collected many bags from them I found this unacceptable. The bag sits in the closet for a few years is considered wear and tear, not material issue? This is suppose to be a rugged bag that can take the environment. I was expecting that your team admits the material selection issue and if I send back the barely used (maybe one time) and I get a replacement or repair unit with a cloth pouch. Instead I was told that this is wear and tear and is user issue. Very disappointed with how this issue is handled. Please remove the “advanced” from the AGR, because the name is not suitable for the bag
