First of all, that's the best review of any backpack or bag I've ever seen. Not only with the info you provided, but also the presentation of the bag itself. I watched multiple reviews of multiple bags that I got for myself later and everytime I had to get through 4 or 5 of them before I was satisfied. But here? BAM, I know everything I needed to know and most of all, saw everything I wanted to see up close. Great work, god sir! On to the bag itself. I will most defenitely get this one. Right now I carry a Maxpedition Falcon II for edc and an empty 5.11 Rush 12 for shopping. While I keep the main compartment of the Falcon empty, the material is just too thick and stiff to fit the groceries of one trip. And while the main compartment of the Rush is nice and roomy, most organization is within that compartment. I have a feeling the Riftcore combines the best of both worlds of the Rush and Falcon. Especially if I combine it with the Maxpedition AGR bottle holder and DEP I got together with the Rush, used. Plus the high vis. interior and straps are a big upgrade from both of them. So yeah, Riftcore it is and thanks again for the review.

@@HeartbeatsOutdoors Oh, it is very similar to the Riftcore...the top pocket is more discreet and integrated in the general shape of the bag, giving it a more streamlined appearance. The materials are the same and the webbing too... The belt buckle seems a bit flimsy...but surely they chose the best materials.... The zippers feel "sticked" as they are umbalanced as you pull to close as, because of an eyelet for a padlock, the pull tends to twist them... meanwhile the zippers from my old and trusted Filson Journeyman are absolutely a joy to use! I am sure that Maxpedition has done their homework, but I can't help myself having that doubt in the back of my head that if I step on the belt buckle with boots on it will brake, or if sand or mud get into the zippers they will jam! hey man, i saw your other video with the vanquest trident 21. may i ask which has the better layout, which carries better and ultimately which do you preffer for an EDC bag? thanks a lot dude.

I did a video on the Vanquest Ibex 35 but I do not own the Trident 21. But between the Vanquest Ibex 35 and the Maxpedition Riftcore I have to recommend the Mexpedition Riftcore for EDC. The Ibex 35 is better for hiking and outdoor activities but the Riftcore has a more convenient layout. The Riftcore is also capable for outdoor activities but in my opinion it excels in Every day use. I actually used the Riftcore as my carry on when I was traveling Europe last year and it worked out great.
