Bit late to the party, but this is a very useful video showing how much can be done with this item. Great viewing angles to get an idea of the size, fit and finish... thanks!

Better late than never 😂👍 the video is only 4 years old. This is an oldie but goodie EDC bag. Use to be one of my favorites.

@@PreparedGuy Even though it's an 'older' design, it still peaks my interest far more than what's currently on the market. Did you find anything you didn't like with it? Longevity, durability issues? Thnx

I just ordered 6 different bags to see which one I like for EDC. the zippers on this one and the veldspar seem very tight and are not easy to operate. I love the fit and finish and all the pockets. I can fit a 40 oz. Thermoflask in the bottle holder pocket, but it's very tight to get it in. (don't say it.. Lol). My question is, do the zippers and water bottle pocket loosen up at all over time? Did you use any zipper lube? Thanks in advance and very good video! Drew

No zipper lube was used, the zippers are pretty well made, so with that said you can be confident and get a little rough with them, they will loosen up a tiny bit with continuous use but they wont become weak. So it's all positive. Worse case scenario is you beat on it a bit and send it to get repaired.

How much does it weigh? (full load)
@PreparedGuy5 жыл бұрын
The bag itself weighs a little over 2 pounds. So with gear in it fully loaded About 10lbs, not super heavily considering the amount of gear inside. Everyone will carry something different. Some more, some less. For a bag this size you could pack ultra light, I could pack this with smaller simular items and have it weigh about 8lbs total. This weigh still includes the weigh of the bottle of water, medical supplies, battery bank and primary flashlight & knife which is about 4lbs in total in itself. It all depends on what you can justify bringing with you. It's very comfortable considering the weigh on a long hike.

Prepared Guy long story short. I put my DSLR camera with 50 mm. I have older version of this bag.... probably will upgrade it because wolfspur cost less then 80$ on the official website

@@victorblack3687 there is always one. Dudes got a bunch of gamer videos on his channel and is complaining about this bag being use and stocked exactly as it was intended to be. Someones salty. Prepared guy showed about $1,200 worth of gear go into a $150 bag. I think that's good enough of a ratio.

Awesome bro, I have a lot of gear in many different bags, not sure why you would refer to what I packed as garbage though. This is just my around town bag. So I dont need a ton if expensive gear in it nor would I carry anything overly expensive in it. I have a canon C700 that I use for work related projects and I wouldn't keep that in a wolfspur of course but I do keep the smaller stuff like go pros and such in the bag while on the go. It's a simple bag that gets the job done. I love it. What would you change out of the gear that I showed? 👍🏻🔦🗡😎 definitely 💯 worth the upgrade man. I would highly recommend it. It will fit a nice DSLR perfectly.
