I've been on these for about 2 weeks. Replaced an older set of maxpeedingrods coilovers. Those were only taken off so I can put them on my nephews cars. No leaking, no clunks except for the famous loose nuts. Tightened and all good to go. These are a bit noisy up front. Everything is tight. I assume its the spherical bushings they have. I dont know why they have spherical bushings on the ef/eg/el/dc coilovers but they do. Other than that, they've been good so far. Hopefully they hold up as long as the older ones have

I've seen a few other people who've highly suggested that before you install them to take the top hats off, so you have access to the spherical bushing & use marine grease or other high-quality grease to lubricate the bushings because they are not from factory. It resolved the issues in the other videos I watched. Probably worth you looking into.

@@mikeymike2552 Pretty much any top hat that is spherical will benefit from this periodically to keep binding/wear to a minimum. Make sure to use a good quality marine grade grease so it resists water etc better.

These things are no joke. They ride a little better than my T6 you can definitely feel the difference in handling too

You, youngstatic, and a couple others seem to really like yes t7's so I think I'll get them. Lol was thinking doing a full mxp build with everything they carry for the 96-00.

Would love to see how a set of them work out on the mustang but the stuff I want come in one kit and the better coils are in another and the extra parts aren't shown sold separately. Those are the coilovers I got sent. Ordered the adjustable and got these n was told I was Sol bc the add was incorrect n I could pay the difference if I wanted the others n send those back.

so many questions rn (not modified any car) but how would you know if the coilovers are equally lowered each other? if im not mistaken, it is using a knob to control the ride height, so how can you set the ride height equally with each other?

Usually you eyeball it then take it to a shop to be aligned properly

the knob is for dampening not ride height. You use the key wrench thing to adjust the collars holding the spring and the one that attaches to the wheel (more complex than that but basically) then you just make them all aligned so the collar holding the spring is the same distance to the bottom on all of them. Or you just eyeball it which is much easier and more fun cuz you get to work on ur car a lot more 💀

I have an Ek hatch with t7 super bouncy I think the spring rate is to high for the dampers
