One thing I have forgotten to mention is this machine does have slow start, so even if you have the machine on speed 6 it will slowly start and build to that speed , further test on this machine on its vibrations I was challenged to balance a coin on the machine on Instagram, go check out the results here :instagram.com/reel/C3SgniRtfwB/?igsh=cXA2dTdzZDhscmQ4

I recently purchased this product, sadly not having seen your video. I 100 % had the same issue with stalling with the 3mm offset. At first, I thought it was just optical, but no, when in DA, it does not work. I agree that the pads are poor, and I found it improves greatly with decent pads.

I have the same polisher and I can agree that the 3mm dual action attachment is useless. I also had no clue you could fit a 3 inch backing plate to it!! I was about to buy their 3 inch 12mm DA, but now that I know I can turn this thing into a 12mm DA, im pumped! Just ordered some pads and that backing plate. Thank you🫡

Cracking review, Darren. I do want a mini and eas wandering wjether to just splurge and go down the Flex route but, ive always doubted that id get my money's worth. My DAS6 has a 3" so the 2 and 1.5 is all I'm after really. It's this or the Carbon Collective one, as it stands. Thanks for the timely video. 👍

Thanks for the thorough and honest review. Been looking at getting a mini polisher to work areas such as bumpers, a-pillars, etc., especially since I've ordered a new MX-5 that I expect to be here in a couple of months. I have a regular size polisher for the larger panels but want one to use when working in smaller and tighter areas. Still researching them, but this one has popped up as a value based option. I'm also looking into the Shinemate EB210 and the Griot's Garage "The Boss" Hybrid Micro Polisher as more expensive options.

Really is a nice little machine for the value , the lack of attachments is a bit of a let down but you can buy these in Amazon, let me know what you choose 😁

@@TheHairyHouseWife After a lot of researching last night, I ended up placing an order for the Griot's Garage "The Boss" Hybrid Micro. Looks to be a serious competitor to the Flex unit, with a few additional tweaks that really speak to me. I've also had great luck with their G9 polisher (my main go-to), and their lifetime warranty really gives me peace of mind. Truthfully, it's probably overkill for what I need, but I figured I'd spend a bit more upfront and hopefully get a unit that I won't have to replace in a year or two.

Yeah I have seen those not a bad little machine I don't know is this would be worth buying as an upgrade if you have an older model or different models but I think if you were in the market and couldn't afford a flex , this is pretty good

3mm attachment is for sanding not polishing 😊
@TheHairyHouseWife10 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, they don't explain that in the book it says its for polishing , altho even without a pad on the thing stops really easy I wouldn't want to sand with it as it could cause spot damage

By the way, that plug is not American, it looks European. American plugs are either 2 or 3 and 2 are flat and if with the 3rd is because of grounding.
@TheHairyHouseWife11 ай бұрын
Good spot , yeah dunno how I didn't notice that it wasn't flat 😂 still not a UK plug😂😂😂

You lost me when you polished the whole car, with a mini polisher 😮
@TheHairyHouseWife9 ай бұрын
Yeah I wouldn't usually go as far as I did polishing wise with a mini polisher , usually smaller areas or awkward angles , however I will lay down wax with a 3 inch Polisher as I find it quicker and more efficient than by hand
@nissan300bhp5 ай бұрын
thats not an American plug its a European plug , usa is 2 pin flat pins
