Very smart looking light mate,,looks to be more than adequate and brilliant spread from it 👍

Cheers mate! Looks like it will do the job for LPS and softies anyway and it's from Maxspect so I would be really surprised if it wasn't at least half decent 🤞

Thanks mate, will do a more in depth one once I've played with it more and have some corals under it, looks cracking for the price I paid anyway! 👍

Does corals benefit from royal blue? Coz a fren of mine gave me this particular regular version of mjl165, i realize the royal blue combines with the white. My tank looks whitish which i’m not a fan of. I wonder if i can just turn the whites down along with the royal blue. Thanks

Tank is looking good Mark. Not a light anywhere near as common as other makes but looks a cracking piece of kit. Are you going to manually tune it or use a preset?

Thanks Howard! It certainly looks the business and coming from Maxspect it should perform too! 🤞 The way the leds in the clusters are set up its a pretty balanced spectrum overall, definately more natural/less blue so will try it and aim for 60-70% on all channels and see how it goes, thanks for watching mate, much appreciated! 👍

Sorry for the delay, this light has been spot on, grew a number of heads of euphyllia prior to an alk crash.... also now have some pieces of SPS forest fire monti and encrusting montis and a few other pieces doing fine, just not had time to do an update, thanks for watching!

Hi Mark, Love your videos. I’ve been looking at these lights for a while now as I feel I need to replace my two 5-year-old AI Primes soon. Do you think these lights have the same or even more powers than AI Primes? I’m not really into high-end SPS and even so I can’t bring myself to buying Radions and then another £80 or so for the mounts. Many thanks Phil

Hi Phil, thanks for watching much appreciated! Well on paper the AI prime is 55 watts and the Jump is 65 watts, also Maxspect say it has the ability to use 95-100% of that 65w at either 12k, 16k or 20k colour temperature, so I'm hoping it will be a little more powerful. There is now also a blue version if you lean towards more blue, also the centres of the 6 pucks are 80mm apart front to back and 120mm apart side to side, so the spread should be a little more even. Dutch Reefer on KZbin has the blue version and seems pretty happy with the light 🤞 I've not had any corals under it yet so certainly hope it does the job and will probably do a more in depth video later in the year, but might be a while off for you sorry, hopefully this is some help for you Phil 🤞
