As someone who owns 2 radion G5 pros. You can get 2 of these for less than 1 light and mounting bracket. I just picked up an IM SR 80 and these maxspects are my light of choice for that tank. No more radions for me...

This is an awesome budget light, great power and price and spread, the only thing I didn't like was the grouping of white and royal blue colors on the same channel, that was a mistake.

I’m loving the Light! As soon as Maxspect saw the video they started looking into the color grouping. I was pretty impressed they were looking into it so quickly

@@MileHighReefersBut they changed 2 years later exactly... what ? Nothing. Also a downside is youŕe not be able to set the complete intensity to your profile in the App. I have the LED and its a really good build quality but i don´t like also that UV/Violet and Coldwhite/Royal Blue is mixed. I can never change the light to looks like an AI Prime 16 or Hydra 32 LED. But i bought the Maxspect cause of the FAN that is really quiet and the good price. On the AI LEDs i read much unhappy things that they are unexaptable loud. Also the FAN pulsing on the Maxspect is excellent. Goes up cooling and went down to zero. Even under 35% Power the Fan never start. Good heavy Cooler in the LED. The build quality is perfect ! Another thing i didnt like is the Preset. SPS preset all channels 75% Power, Softcorals and LPS preset all channels 45%. THIS MAKE NO SENSE. And on their Lagoon Tanks they use the lights and the profiles are different SPS Preset: UV 100 BLUE 100 Coldwhite 100 Green 54 Yellow 71 Red 74 As an unexpirienced customer i can make more wrong with the led than right. An AI LED you can get profiles from experienced Reefers and know it will work. For Maxspect you havent this expirience. I didnt trust the profile which Maxspect give me in the app. I regret it a little bit that i bought the Maxspect over the AI Prime16 /Hydra32 or an Red Sea Reef 50 LED.

The very best review on maxspect! Salute! Which one do you think is best for my tank: - Maxspect RSX 200w or - 2pcs Maxspect Jump LED MJ-L165 Tank dimesions: 40 x 16 x 18 inches (LxWxH) 180 liters tank. I have mostly LPS and Zoanthids. Thanks in advance for your advice!

It depends on your budget. The RSX is the better light but cost more. The jump will work great and save you some cash.

How would this compare to an AI Prime? I’m seeing this one has a little more wattage, but the PRIME I would believe is from a more reputable brand? How would you compare these two?

I haven’t used the AI personally. It’s a little less expensive but also has fewer LEDs and doesn’t include a mount. I think there both pretty good. To me the Maxspect seems like the better light.

I think you might be pushing what that light can do. You might start with one and if it’s not enough buy a second light later.

Light is ok, but app on my android is junk. Last Maxspect product I'll ever buy that can only be operated with an app.

This light is listed at 230$. Hardly a budget light at that price point.

@@MileHighReefers When I think of budget lights, I think of something like Hipargero's Aqua Knight A029 Light. 65$ relatively effective light that can grow some corals. This is a great light and review but not a budget light by any means.

I don't think that's a lot of money for a good reef tank light especially when it comes with the mounting bracket you think I could get away with two of these on a 90 gallon Scott mixed type Reef good video Scott

@@JohnJacob56 it’s a great point you make there are a lot of people on super low budgets. I think this light is budget if you need the features and PAR.
