It's ironical that we made scooters in Taiwan but we CANNOT ride on the Freeway in our country. btw, SYM the scooter(and motorbike) manufacturer is NO.3 market share in Taiwan. Our law is revised for bikes which displacement upper 550 c.c. could ride on Freeway but the authority find a lot of excuses and refuses to deal with it. It's quite ridiculous of our inefficient department of administration.

This is also in my buy wish list. I don't enjoy speed but seek for safe riding at hi speed. I think this bike can resist the wind enough not to make riders dancing by wind.

yes its very stable so even when passed by large trucks or there is a strong crosswind, the bike does not shake around much.

nope never experienced that, but i think the mainstand will hit first, because it did hit it a few times when cornering left. the clearance its quite low on this bike. if u are heavy and going over a sharp hump, better go slowly.

around that region, but i seem to top out at around 155km/h (indicated) probably due to my large Givi windshield. still good enough though!

yup probably. brakes are sufficient. not the best but they do the job well. engine is actually pretty quiet, so it isn't irritating on long trips. these are probably the biggest of the scooters except Tmax. anything bigger and you should look at normal street bikes instead.

SpaceMonkey, I have ridden superbike up to 300km/hr and have ridden a scooter 200cc until 130km/hr. i am sure max400 can do better than my x9. I have seen a sexy girl riding superbikes and bandit1200 and hd. in this modern world, how are you going categorise the these bikes or riders?? just enjoy the ride and video.
