I think a truer Thai style, would have the tailgate down, cargo on the tailgate and 3mtrs. of stuff hanging off the back end. So a minimum or 176 to approx. 440… and three children sat on the bonnet/hood. That front end could accommodate a 92L frunk. Bound to be a Chinese company who could make one.

Great video! And Maya your accent is perfect and love the onesie, which would be perfect for chilly Kangaroo Island! You forgot the one box in the frunk - that makes it 35, which is what I guessed in the 1000km livestream. Us Aussies, like the Thais know and love our pick up trucks. The Hilux and Ford Ranger, both built in Thailand, have been the best selling cars for years, even though many never leave the suburbs. Australians also have extreme range anxiety, so not sure this offering would be too attractive, despite ranking high on bbf - banana box factor. I’m selling my much-loved VW Amarok truck as I just ordered the new 24 version Polestar 2 long range single motor RWD, and would love to see you test that model, maybe comparing it to the Highland 3, which has a similar claimed range as well as an instrument cluster that looks like a Polestar’s, apparently. Thanks.

Bjorn, your sister in law is a keeper! And a really good sport as well. Shame about the Maxus though. The smaller 60 kwh battery model of this ute is sold in New Zealand under the LDV Brand. Only RHD EV ute available there.

11:37 a banana box has 24 cm height. 4 m is the height limit on public roads. 11 * 24 cm = 264 cm. When the trunk starts at 70 cm height, that's already 334 cm, So only 2 more to remain under 4 m.
