Thank you for your amazing coverage ! I am a Brit living in NE Oklahoma and I am worried sick. I witnessed my first tornado a couple of weeks ago, here in Bartlesville. I didn't know about your channel back then. It was horrible. Now, I feel a little more prepared (as much as you can be) thanks to you. There is a chance that we would see a high risk issued later today, it could produce multiple strong to violent tornadoes, damaging winds up to 100 mph, and very large hail up to 5 inches

I’m about 30-40 minutes east of St. Louis and am not looking forward to tomorrow at all! We just got both of our vehicles back after over 20k in damages was done on them with that last hail storm we had. We also just got our roof finished last week cause of that one. Praying it doesn’t get too bad here in southern Illinois, or anywhere for that matter!

I remain baffled why the categories use those words. To me and many others, Enhanced sounds more dangerous than Moderate Risk. When will they come to their senses and change those words to something that makes more common sense ?

I'm worried about close to half a million people being outdoors with limited shelter. I go to alot of races and stayed home from one the day the storm hit the Indiana state fair. Unfortunately some people lost their lives that day.

Going to get to a point where people will start fleeing to the west coast and entire towns in the paths of these storms will eventually become abandoned. You cant be hit by these storms multiple times a week and remain intact

This will be a BIG DEAL in Indianapolis. The Indianapolis 500 which is located in the town of Speedway, immediately west of the city has a total number of 300,000 people that attend it on race day. The race is on Sunday. Sounds like they may have to delay it to Monday.

This weekend will absolutely solidify 2024 as the 2nd craziest storm season ever next to 2011. It will be mega intense for Saturday and Sunday of this Memorial Day weekend. People in Oklahoma especially could see EF3 and 4 today.

Don't be too presumptuous. Nothing is certain right now, which is why the NWS has not issued a high risk yet. There are several factors that could prevent a major outbreak. It's important to be weather aware, but I urge you not to overhype things because it creates a boy who cried wolf scenario. People will begin to ignore severe weather alerts if this becomes common. This weekend may be like you say, or it might be nothing worse than the other storms we have seen this year. Time will tell
