0:42 - 0:49. The fields are not propagating along the y-axis or the z-axis. Both fields are propagating along the x-axis. The orientation of the E-field is along the y-axis. The orientation of the B-field is along the z-axis. But the wave is propagating along the x-axis.

Somewhat different for me, it's more than 20 years ago that I've seen this in school and I've hardly touched this stuff ever since … and I'm eager to brush up un things :)

hey i was wondering like what are the things that you’re will have in this playlist in the future like after classical electromagnetism will you delve into Lagrangians and Hamiltonians and further into modern physics or will this be strictly for classical physics , and also will you add the necessary math knowledge for the future courses to your math playlist if it’s something that wasn’t discussed there or will you explain them in those videos respectively? and thanks !!

Did you know there's also a Gauss's law for the gravitational field? It's grad . g = -4 pi G * density

hey professor dave, while i think this playlist is very complete and is overall fantastic, i do feel like you could cover a lot more things in the modern physics playlist. do you ever plan on expanding the playlist or do you just feel like its complete?

Certainly not complete, I hope to do more at some point.

Maxwell's discovery was that he connected light with magnetism. I say light converts to electron positron pairs and back and forth. Photons, electrons and positrons are all versions of the same thing. The magnetic field connected to a light wave... would have to have both a positive and negative aspect. Magnetism is not a monopole. That would suggest magnetism is an electron positron magnetic field. That seems to tie in photon light with electron positron magnetism. The drawing shows a light or photon wave as red and the magnetic field in blue with electrons or e- , alternating with positrons or e+. Summary Here are the key components of all my physics posts. Photons are eternal and outside of time and distance. The singularity of photons began the Big Bang. Photons created electron positron pairs in the Big Bang. These electrons and positrons made the elementary particles which in turn made the atoms. Photons, electrons, and positrons, are all different versions of the same thing. The energy of the universe comes from photons converting to electron positron pairs, or electrons and positrons converting to photons. The force from the Big Bang singularity was photons, dark energy, or anti gravity. The force from acceleration is anti gravity, not gravity.

I have a question. Why does the plate get so warm in the microwave, if it only heats water particles?
@scott_meyer2 жыл бұрын
Conduction. The heat transfers from the food to the glass.

Some plates can hold water inside also.

Hi Dave! I watched a few vids by Ken Wheeler yesterday, have you heard of him? 2 days ago he called himself "the foremost expert in this world on what the field of magnetism is" and he's previously said that he "literally wrote THE book on magnetism"😂. Seems like michelin star word salad to me but it's definitely not my area, would love to hear your thoughts in a vid!

Amazing. Professor Dave presents a video covering some of the most cornerstone concepts and discoveries in magnetism and electricity - the same stuff the runs the device you used to make this completely useless post - and your only concern is being first to post in the replies? Laughable.

@@glennpearson9348 good point you have over there, and for the record i know how priceless this videos are by the fact that i've watched almost the entirety of prof Dave videos along with more than 12 high yield medical channels, except in prof Dave channel he rarely replies so i switched by replying in a somewhat funny way which it doesn't cause any harm :)
