Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite is criminally underrated and deserves to be be praised as one of the best R&B albums of the 90's, if not of all time. From start to finish, you can just get immersed into the instrumentals as Maxwell's hypnotic voice serenades to you about the true beauty of passionate, faithful heterosexual romance. To me, this is what makes Maxwell stand out compared to the likes of Usher and R. Kelly during the late 90's who had no shame in singing about raunchy sex and infidelty. I just hope Maxell gets the recognition he deserves one day because his music still gets through the toughest of days. (I hope at least 1 person feels the same way about his music as I do) 💖💞💖💞

I agree. Of all time is arguable because Mr. Stevie Wonder has an album that's primo. I'm sho' you know which one I'm talking about. The 90's had variety. I loved that variety. Maxwell's not getting the recognition that he deserves because he's not consistent. He doesn't put out music consistently. The work his did on his debut album, alone, is enough for me. I'm satisfied through and through.
