The ride is like Hypersonic XLC 2.0 in a way. Fast accelerating launch to almost the same speed, short but sweet layout, low capacity, similar color scheme, made by s&s. Anything else? But for reals this ride looks awesome

@@dark666105 There's nothing wrong with LSM. Using LSM gives you some great advantages like being able to launch without stopping the train and there's almost no wear compared to most other principles. LSM is awesome, but that's the problem, because everyone uses it. If you would replace all of Intamin's hydraulic launches with LSM ones, it would take away a whole lot of the coaster's personality. And that's why I want S&S to continue to use compressed air launches. It's just so unique and has a special feel to it. And of course, while LSM launches are getting stronger, they still pale in comparison to the sheer intensity of most of these compressed air launches.

The launch is truly incredible. The videos of the launch dont do it justice. Trust me, it is MUCH FASTER than the POV's Make it look. It does 0-80 mph in 1.8 seconds. This thing is a literal bullet.

Was there a few days ago. When you didn't know what the LOUD BOOM was from across the park, you'd think something fell or there was thunder (there was a thunderstorm during that time). Even when my fam and I figured out it was this ride in testing, it's still loud enough to confuse people. And I mean, across the entire park. Also regarding Goliath, god, it's an AMAZING ride. But the wait takes much, MUCH longer than the other rides and the ride is way too short. I don't think I'm gonna ride Maxx Force seeing as it's going to use a maximum of 2 trains and the line will be loooong. And that the coaster lasts less than 30 seconds. Nope. Viper was almost an immediate boarding. Had like up to 4 people in front of you and that was it. Personally found that to be the most fun ride at this time since the ride's drops are just straight up fun, the ride doesn't feel like 3 seconds, and it's a get on.

Rode it yesterday. Awesome, wild takeoff. Was so nervous cuz you don't know when you're gonna take off and then boom you blast off and go up like a rocket. It's a short ride but it was fun.

Everyone is saying this ride looks so short...but...you know...the faster the ride is...the quicker the ride is. Launched coasters = no lift hill = shorter ride time. Six Flags Great America has how many coasters again? They didn't remove any coasters to build this ride, so space...was an issue. Less space = less track options= condensed compact ride. Small space + fastest North American launch = build tall elements. Tall elements = thicker supports= more steel, deeper foundations, more expensive. Air Powered launch= more expensive. Before everyone starts hatin', think about everything the park had to consider. Great America Didn't have an intense powered launch coaster so this is a great fit. (Vertical Velocity has to go through the launch system several times to reach max speed) This ride also has a bunch of unique ride elements none of the other coasters in the park have. When Superman the Escape was built at Six Flags Magic Mountain, that too was a really short ride...but it was a unique as hell experience. That is what this ride reminds me of, but on steroids. Sure, lines are long now, they won't always be. I can't wait until I am able to make it back to Great America....one day. And just be glad you do not live in Tucson Arizona....Arizona has absolutely NO theme or amusement parks of any sort....here is Tucson we drop $100 in less than 2 hours for parking, entrance tickets, and ride tickets...for a travelling fair that comes once a year. The Zipper carnival ride is the best thing we got. People commenting in here do not know how good you have it.

I went on this and it is probably the smoothest coaster I've ever been on! Its great! the seat belts dont go over your shoulders but it feels very secure! The launch is crazy too btw! And also, the line looks long but it moves pretty fast, The ride is very quick and the get you in your seats quickly.

I was there yesterday. They didn't even open up it up. Park opened and there were technical difficulties. They were supposed to pen by 2:00. They ran test runs between 1:00 and 1:45, then stopped altogether.
