Kaizo Mario World: World 2

This is the second world of a Super Mario World ROM hack called Kaizo Mario World.
This is a tool-assisted video, which means tools such as save states and slowdown were used in the process of making this video.
Screen scrolling was used to modify where and when some enemies spawned, in order to finish the level faster.

R. Kiba did eventually pass this game without save states so it IS possible. We have the advantage of seeing countless internet videos that show the way to pass these levels. Even so, the game is ridiculously hard. I've seen too many videos from too many experienced and skilled players to believe that this game could be completed in a reasonable amount of time without save states. It's an insane accomplishment!

Save States alone doesn't make it easy, but see what he did was use the emulator to slow the game down to a fraction of its normal speed. This allows for a greater reaction time. Then he simply speeds the recorded video up. You can see artifacts of this in the video as some of the enemies don't move at normal speed.

That's the flying thing that he rides in, if you hit it by the sides you just bounce off, but if you hit the helicopter things at the bottom of it you die (or lose big mario).

kaizo requires what most gamers call "r-type" memory, the actual memorization of basically the entire game. that means that you know everything that's going to appear on screen, how it will move, and how to avoid it. though it's hella difficult i would recommend Kaizo, because it helps your short term memory, at least it helped me.

I have finally finished this game! I used a lot of savestats but i dont needed slow motion. And only watched the video to see how to kill the red koopa who "stops" you in the ghost house. It was a stupidity finally. I only have to complete he special world, and had to saw this video in order to know how to acces it.

I'm not so sure it's savestated, I mean, me and a friend were playing Mario like hell when we used to get high. I mean damn, we're so good you wouldn't believe it. In all 2d Marios. "Lost Levels" is a piece of cake. And there are allot of crazy asians out there. It could be like, just camcaptured without and extra work done to it.
