Watching these, and I think that making them in Super Mario Maker would be impossible, due to the changes in programming... You need to overhaul certain staple assets from the series, and change tempos of the screen scrolling... which Kaizo did. However, I can guarantee people will be naming their levels "Kaizo" related things or changing their Miis to "Kaizo" just to get players. Shame on you if you do...

Hope it's not too late to answer: the heigth of the jump depends on 3 factors: 1) If you press A or B, cos B is higher. 2) The time you press those buttons. The less you press, the less you jump. 3) The horizontal speed of Mario. The fast he moves, the higher he jumps. So, press A, while you're not fast and try to press as quickly as possible.

Fun fact: I discovered the Kaizo trap in the original Mario game in the World 1 level, killing the boss (Iggy or Larry, can't remember, don't care) and then falling in the magma. You have to know ALL the bugs to play Kaizo Mario World, though.
