Classic Racing Circuits - Snetterton 1989 - Honda CRX Challenge

Yes, they were fast and dangerous in the 'old days' but they were great fun and with the older cars, the racing was fantastic. I certainly grew up watching racing on these circuits and although I never did get to race on the 1989 Snetterton (I started in 1990).
I also had a soft spot for the CRXs and this short video from Snetterton in 1989 features the Honda CRX Challenge.
I took this video, tidied it up a bit, cropped it for wisescreen and have uploaded it here for a wider audience.

Why I do not get rid of mine. I own two and there is nothing like these two. Nothing. I own Supras, Porsches , and would love the NSX but the CRX man its your starter kit for going fast. Its the best thing to having a Go cart they are lightwieght and fast.

I used to have a replica one on these I used for trackways it was my favourite car of all time. In tighter tracks this thing embarrassed much big and more powerful stuff but it got hauled in on long straights but in the corners it was a legend.

Now a days a black flagged driver, that caused that kind of an crash, and race intervention, I guess he would be banned!
