The Smithsonian is literally the best part of DC! We went in 6th grade to Washington DC for a week for our "safety patrol" trip. 9/11/01 happened my 6th grade year, so we couldn't tour the Capitol or the White House because they were on lockdown. Still went to the monuments though.
