Spring runoff on the Royal River in Yarmouth Maine from the estuary up through the two dams in Yarmouth following a 3.5-inch precipitation event on the basin.
This unedited 4K video shows the reach from the tidal estuary passing along upstream showing the four falls of the lower Royal River including the two dams in that reach. The video and other linked videos show the recently rehabilitated Denil Fishways at the Bridge Street Dam and the Elm Street Dam.
Note that a group of dedicated residents have rehabilitated the fishways supporting the passage of anadromous species, and are looking forward to spawning runs of herring and alewife this season.
