Hi, Lori. Thank you for mentioning Challenger. I didn’t have that one on my radar but it’s definitely one I will want to buy. The Challenger explosion was one of the defining moments of my life. I was in HS and we watched it live on TV because Christa McAuliffe was on that mission.

Debbie - I absolutely understand. It defined ours as well and was so heartbreaking and trauma inducing. I have to admit I still hold my breath for every launch as a result of that day.

Hi Lori, I remember the Challenger disaster, too. I was getting ready for work but was following the launch because it was so historic. I was horrified to witness the vessel disintegrate before my eyes. So tragic. I loved Brooklyn so will definitely read Long Island. Brooklyn the movie is good, too.

45 hours, well you can’t deny it is value for money! Looks like you have a treat coming later this year with Then Things Went Dark by Bea Fitzgerald. I read Brooklyn some time ago so looking forward to the sequel.

Time travel and time slips are some buzzwords for me, so I’m interested very much in the ministry of time. I do remember Challenger and where I was that day and the shock and sorrow that followed. This book will be a hard to read but important book I’m sure. Stuart Turton is on my want to read something from this author list😊. I’ve been meaning to read Evelyn Hardcastle for ages but maybe I’ll start with his latest. I’m looking forward to John Grisham’s Camino Ghosts that’s coming out on 5/28 and I’ll definitely be reading it sometime this summer.

I just recently read Brooklyn (in March) and LOVED it! Obviously, I haven't read Long Island (yet), but judging by what kind of book Brooklyn was, I do think you probably want to read it first.
