Been facing a financial storm in my life this week. Got 2 debt lawsuits against me, a foreclosure notice, and working away from home to make it all happen but at the end of the day I know that the Lord is speaking to me, trying to wake me up. There's just no other way for me to say that this sermon spoke to my heart on so many deep levels.

I have storms in my life, they come in waves, not so big, then there is the big wave. I trust in the Lord through it all. Faith brings peace no matter what my/your circumstance. Stand on the Promise of the Lord. As I go through my storms, I see myself getting stronger and stronger. It's beautiful the growth I see in me, Praise The Lord!

Thanks for the lifeline, Brett, that I need in the raging sea. Out of nowhere I am confronted by events that could swamp a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Injustice abounding, time factors, evil ones who are flexing maliciously and others who won't lift a finger... Started on Easter Sunday when I went down to my cellar (I rent an apt. in Paris) to choose a nice wine to go with my roast lamb...only to find that it had been totally cleared out by unknown robbers, who turn out to have been mandated by the building management firm where I've been residing for decades. A 'mistake' if you will, but no one (so far) will accept responsibility... Already three trips to the local commissariat de police which is like an Inspector Clouseau remake, and no relief in sight. Well, it could be worse. Not life threatening, at least. But an attack that is wearing on the morale and bad on sleep. What you had to say in this message fits the bill and I am acting on it - I feel better already in my adversity. I know that Jesus always prevails yet I still need to be reminded from time-to-time. This time coincides with your teaching - no coincidence, either. Praise the Word !
