We are moving to NC soon and I am so excited I found your page~! Wanted a farm vehicle and a side by side would have been okay but with my RA the Mini Truck was more of what I wanted~! Awesome trucks, and in the future, I'll be in the market to buy a mini truck. Currently, I've got a 1993 Daihatsu Mira Walk-Through Classic, which I'll be keeping. When doing the videos, would it be possible to mention the year of the mini truck?

Hi Dale, the Mira is a cool vehicle. I have thought about getting one👍 give us a shout when the time is right for you. You’re asking a question that I have been asked many times in the past. It is a totally understandable request. Unfortunately, during this video I am not privy to this information yet. The trucks literally just rolled off of the ship. It is not until another week or two that I have the year of the vehicle. That said, if you see a truck that you like, and you are possibly interested, call me and I will contact Stephanie and find out. You can also look at the back of the seatbelt tag… 90% accurate. Sorry if I’m writing an encyclopedia here but the year is not the most important thing about the truck. It’s far more important to have a 1992 Suzuki that has been babied instead of a 1998 identical Suzuki that has been treated badly. The two trucks are remarkably the same in almost every imaginable way. This is not the case with a Ford F150. The year here is extremely salient. Not nearly as much with a mini truck :-) excellent question!

I’m looking for a suzuki carry 2 wheel Drive definitely with A/C because I live in Florida. Round lights a plus 5 speed would be perfect but not a dealbreaker.

it's really Hard for me to believe that these mini trucks have low miles when you can obviously see that they have been thru hell plus add the years sorry can't buy that

So I get your reasoning. it's definitely an American point of view. It's how we think of automobiles that are for sale . But, once you understand the Japanese culture and lifestyle, it totally makes sense why they have so many low mile vehicles (there are also large numbers of high mile vehicles as well). One other thing to remember is , Kei trucks are considered a tool. It's rarely a farmer or business owners main transportation. Also, their use is seasonal for the most part. They sit idle when farmers crops aren't being grown. That's where much of the corrosion originates. The prefecture, geographical location, also plays an important role in condition of the truck. To be fair, there are some unscrupulous sellers (in Japan) and dealers (in the US) that try to sell roll over vehicles as low miles. In my own personal experience , it's pretty obvious if you know what to look for. A 110,000 km vehicle is very difficult to pass off as a 10,000 km cream puff. Don
