i completely agree with your point about emily henry books feeling more realistic!! i think that’s why they make me so emotional- i’m feeling for the characters as though they’re real. and i love how much you love happy place!!

I just finished Demon Copperhead and I’m still thinking about it. It definitely felt like there was a lot of sad moments but it was also very believable and if anything I was starting to think of how things could be WORSE. Needless to say I have a book hangover now 😢

So glad you loved Funny Story, me too!! 😍 And I totally get what you mean about Emily Wilde/cozy fantasy in general, I love the low stakes vibe so that’s why I loved Emily Wilde but I know what you mean, haha, glad you still enjoyed it though. And I need to read Demon Copperhead but I’m scared! 😬😆

Funny story was so so good!!! And yes, I absolutely loved the vibes of Emily Wilde, it will absolutely still be a book I recommend to others. And highlyyyy recommend demon copperhead! it's very easy to understand, just definitely a sad one 🥹
