MAY-DAY Chicago - Covid 19 Shutdown | 4K Drone Footage

Another day in MAY. Chicago - Covid 19 Shutdown drone footage around town with opening time lapse from foggy morning. More sunny days lately with really low temperatures (close to freezing) greeting us this month with more active traffic and some businesses openings. At this point we have over 4 million cases globally with 280 K death toll. Illionis has 74 K cases, 3241 deaths.
4K drone footage done with DJI Mavic 2 Pro.

Thanks man. That is the least stressful time to fly a drone since downtown is so empty but day by day I see more people on the streets. Looks like we are adapting new normal here but still we have a few weeks before "stay at home" order will be lifted.

How long does it take you to make drone videos?

This depends on a project. It may take few hours of flying and then a day to edit (or half) or might be a week or couple of collecting shots, looking for music, editing for few days, etc.

Well. if you are flying in the parks by the lakefront (including Navy Pier) police may give you a ticket. Truth is they do not have specific instructions how to proceed unless you are spying on people, engendering them, flying over them etc. Usually officers will tell you politely to take it down.

Chicago, a beautiful futuristic vibrant metropolis I guess I'll never get the chance to see. Well, maybe after the nuclear war that approaches us each day that passes, or maybe after Covid-19 had wiped out half of mankind from existence, I might get to see Chicago's ruins, if I manage to survive till then.
