Love the video as always. Just throwing this out there fpr the people doing it and others to know. As a translator myself, for youtuber to be doing this free subtitle option is pretty disappointing. Translating and subtitling for youtuber was just a big market we have been trying to target and this completely takes off our chance to work in this field as well. Not your fault at all thank you so much for recognizing such hard work. It is a beautiful job to do but just a bit bummed. Maybe I just turn over to Amy for some self pity help? Again,not to brig everyone down. Just venting

I’m reading “Flowers for Algernon”, it’s classed as sci-fi but the focus is on a young man who has learning difficulties who undergoes a procedure so he can become more “intelligent” & honestly... it’s kicking my a** but it’s beautiful.

That book made me bawl so much, Khalid Hosseini’s work makes me emotional like nothing else. If someone says, “For you a thousand times over,” I just burst into tears 😭

I’m usually a pretty silent subscriber, but I have to say I absolutely LOVED A Thousand Splendid Suns. I’m not a big crier but that book made me bawl my eyes out. The vibrant language and imagery Khalid Hosseini uses makes you feel like you’re really in the world of the two women, and the hardships they endure make you really think over your own privileges.

I started reading The Kite Runner and it hurt me so much. I could not finish it bc it made me cry and feel so sad. I'm iffy to read this one but I think I will try bc I need some books to read for the summer.

I couldn't agree more with you! I also cried while reading this book, which is really rare for me! Kite runner and a thousand splendid suns are both very good but I would say that I prefered a thousand splendid suns!

I love the Life Coach podcast! The boundaries episode really hit home for me too. I’m glad you talked about this! It is important to understand our boundaries. It’s not about being selfish. It’s about understanding yourself and your limits and that’s ok. When you are being honest with yourselves and with others this will make everyone happy :) we can’t please everyone and if we try we will only get worn out and resent others.

I’ve been trying to learn Korean and the show that made the most improvement for me is a k-drama called What Happens To My Family. The drama talks about struggles of being a parent and problems sometimes come with no warning and through all that there’s still sunshine after the storm. I highly recommend it. It has English subtitles and available on KZbin.
