“ robins helping me while planting, frogs jumping out at me”…….very descriptive. Nice to see the garden coming on.

I love seeing the wildlife in the garden. We have a resident hedgehog at the moment much to the kids and my delight! Just working on a video showing the garden in June as it is constantly changing at the moment.

Katherine, your garden is so beautiful especially the rhododendron section. I have a few in my yard and the blooms are huge and numerous this year. The bees are going crazy! I can't wait to see more of your garden videos this summer...no pressure there :-) Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden with us.

Thanks Susan it was looking lovely. Glad I filmed early in the week though as we have just had 2 days of gales so it’s had a bit of a bashing. Flowers and shrubs are pretty resilient though so with a bit of tying in and chopping back we should be all right again! X

Gorgeous garden tour. Really reassuring to see the difference between winter sown and spring sown plants. I am a bit south of you in Chester and my spring sown seeds look similar to yours. Didn’t realise you could pinch out cornflowers so that is a job for next week!

Thanks for watching Honore. I knew the difference with my cornflowers and corncockles from previous years but the ammi really took me by surprise. It’s the first time I have got the seedlings through the winter and the size difference between those and the early spring sown ones is enormous. I hope you get nice bushy cornflowers with lots of flowers x

Hello from northern Canada 3b. I just planted out my zanthos cosmos you featured last year. Lovely to think of you and your lovely videos when I see blooms. May I ask the light conditions where you planted your rhodos . ? I would like to add some but all tags say morning sun only :(

Hi Lisa, thanks for watching! I hope you get lots of lovely xanthos flowers this year. I am trying an apricot cosmos for the first time this season. The rhododendron’s we have were all here when we bought the house 10 years ago. They are in the part of the garden that is north facing and the sunlight reaches that part of the garden in the late afternoon/evening x

Beautiful plants. Could you tell me the name of the plant with the little white blooms? Ranunculus…? Thank you.

Hello, thanks for watching. It’s ranunculus floro pleno. I really love it and it grows really well with an abundance of flowering stems a couple of years after getting established.

Hi Katherine, I only just discovered your beautiful channel, You have such a glorious garden. Lots of hard work and love have gone into it. Just thought I would mention that the sound of your microphone comes across as a kittle bit 'tinny or trebly' making it a bit difficult to understand what you are saying.

Hello Julia, thanks so much for watching and for the feedback. It’s really useful to know so I can work on that for future videos. I think a better microphone will help and finding out how to edit them better to get rid of unwanted background noise.
