This is kind of a nice closure for me?? Put it shortly, my dog, one of my best friends since I was 7-8 and since my little brother was born, passed away last week. He was an 11yr old german shepherd. He was SUCH a a big boy and had a big ol heart full of love. He passed around his family in the home he loved. I cant go anywhere in the house without a german shepherd plushy I got few days after his passing. I'd kind of imagine now that he wasnt scared, but relaxed, and ready to finally rest. I miss him so much. He was the goodest boy.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've lost two cats recently. But as far as having to have a pet put down. Last June, my dog. It was the last resort when nothing else could have been done. I'm sorry that you had to make that choice with your cat. For me with my dog it was the hardest and most uncomfortable and traumatizing decision I've ever had to make in my entire life. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. You just got to cherish every moment you have with your pets because you never know when that can be taken away. I sure do wish they lived as long as people do, seems so unfair that they don't.
