The pocket hugs are a cute idea, but I think I would prefer to carry one around without the card (after I'd bought it and seen what the message was). Maybe you could safety pin them to the card and make it an option to keep the card, pocket the hug by itself or pin the hug onto your clothing?

Thank you for the idea! I do have some pin brooches so may do some experimenting ☺️

Can I give you a bit of advice..... Go into each market like you're going to sell $1,000 and HAVE THE INVENTORY TO DO SO!! When you THINK you've got a lot of stock times that by 10 and just keep making more and more! IF it doesn't sell at the market you're at then you've got it for the next event and you can focus your attention on stocking something else. Fill those flower vases up and have tons of extra back stock to keep putting more up when some sell. set a goal for a dozen of each color then you'll know what was popular and next time you make more of the popular colors. You lose sales when you don't have enough. I'm going to subscribe, I sure hope you do more markets and vlog them. I'd love to be able to watch your business grow and see how you become increasingly successful with each event. The bees are simply adorable!! Might i suggest you crocheting a "bee hive" and using it as part of your display by having a couple bees peeking out of the "hive". IF the hive sells YEAH but if not then it's a perfect addition to your display. Maybe even a crocheted jar of honey :)

Thank you for the advice Liz! I am definitely aiming to have more stock backed up and some of the products in this video were new ideas made days before the market! Unfortunately I work my main job 5-6 days a week and live in small 1 bedroom flat so time and space isn’t always on my side but I am definitely striving to have more of everything 😊

Well done on your new stall. Can l ask what insurance etc you need to sell your work?

I have public liability insurance and then UKCA testing on products that have play value as a basic. For both of these you will need to carry out research to see how they apply to your needs and legal requirements- there may also be different things that venues require too!

Do you UKCA test your crochet plushies? It’s a legal requirement to do so. It doesn’t matter if you say they aren’t toys and not suitable for younger children, if something has a play element then you need to test it. I know it’s annoying but you’re not only putting children and babies at risk but also yourself at risk of getting fined thousands of pounds.

Hi there thank you for making others aware of UKCA testing and need for plushies to be tested.

@@AbbiesAtticDesigns but do you test yours?

You talk reallly fast! LOL! I couldn't keep up. Good luck at markets

I’m so sorry! I do have a tendency to talk fast when I’m really passionate about something - adjusting the speed playback feature might help 😊

Thank you so much 💖 I use Canva to do the design work (as for pretty much everything I print and design including my logo!) and I then print them on normal paper and use double sided sticky tape to add them to my small pre cut cards which I had left over from another project so you could just print onto card directly instead! For the other pricing I add these to boarded cardboard for extra durability! I hope that helps 😊 If you head over to my April Market vlog I show a bit more of the process there too x
