MAY READING RECAP: all the books I read in May

I really enjoyed Finlay Donovan is Killing It. It was such a quick read, and engaging enough, despite flaws, that I went ahead and used a giftcard to get the second in the series (haven't read it, yet, though). I really struggle with Frieda McFadden. People recommend her stuff to me all of the time, but I've been disappointed every time. I continue to love your reviews! You are killing your reading challenges! I'm proud if I can get through three books in a month 🙃

June was closer to my normal pace-I think I finished 4, maybe 5. Lol 😆 I needed a break after May’s Readathons! I just don’t think Frieda McFadden is the author for me. I don’t hate her books, but they just don’t wow me the way that other thrillers have! Thanks for watching!! 💕

I watched this the other day and forgot to comment! Proud of you for finally reading the first ACOTAR book, haha. I know everyone probably says that the second book is the best and to push onward, and I 100% agree with that, but also totally get it if you don’t keep reading. I loved the humor in Finlay Donovan as well! And you have me really wanting to read Death Valley, I haven’t heard much about it but it sounds interesting for sure!! Glad you liked Tom Lake and Vera Wong too 😍

Haha thank you!! I think I’ll read the next one in the ACOTAR series, but I’ll probably read it in physical format instead of audiobook! Death Valley I’m sure isn’t for everyone but it’s so good!! 💕

I didn't like Hunted by Darcy Coates, either. But I did love Fahrenheit 451. I'm sooo far behind on watching videos. It was nice to finally have time to watch this. 🥰
