Brother ko is 44 years old and autistic. Ako ang nag-aalaga since Nanay ko is 84 years old already. Nagsasalita pero hindi clear ang words, minsan ako lang nakakaintindi sa sinasabi. Indeed everyday is a journey with him. Also, I am always reminded of the Bible verse... "I am my brother's keeper" to keep me going. Everyday is like a box of chocolate, I won't know what I get. Pero one thing I know I will get from him daily are his hugs and kisses to express his love. Praying for both your great health and good graces to bless your life daily. Ingat lagi.

Yes ms. Candy, everyday is a blessing... I have an 18 y. O son under the spectrum. And everyday, I learn so many things from him. He has lesw tantrum because he could communicate well. if he feels bad or angry, he would tell me straight, no if, no but. Straight like an arrows. But I love him for that. He is brutally honest to us and to his siblings... His uniqueness makes our daily life colorful... So you are doing good ms. Candy and thank you for spreading the awareness so that someday this country will accept their diversity. ❤❤❤

I’m an NCA+ non violent interventionist for autistic children and young adults and U.S. state certified with 20+ years experience. Quentine can’t help his actions and molding him to how you want him to bahave is a form of suffering on his end. He suffers wanting so bad to act based on what’s expected of him yet his brain is unable to cope with it nor conform with the expectations. There will be someday potential physical combativeness and agitation which at his level can be harmful to himself or his loved ones. We really can’t make them understand what is proper behaviour to normal standard. We can’t force them to go into our world but rather we have to go into their world. Agitation should be minimized at all cost. If he looks in the mirror then be it or remove if it bothers you? Keeping you all in my prayers! 🙏🏼🩷
