I just started Natural Beauty and really really like it so far! I think it def has similar vibes so far to Mona Awads latest book, but I have a feeling i'm going to love it more because I already care more about the character in this one

Oooooh, that’s good to hear! I enjoyed Rouge, but Mona Awad has a very interesting writing style that is hit or miss for me.

I LOVE Howls Moving Castle...it's one of those books I go back to over and over again when I need a comfort read. I also love the movie...so while they are different they are both great in their own way.

I really hope this works out for you! Spirited Away is SO GOOOOD. Oooh Howl's Moving Castle sounds very fun. Whenever anything is 'mixed with David Lynch' it has my attention lol. Great batch of books!

I found Sisters of the Lost Nation to be more of a mystery but it was still really good!

Oh man Spirited Away was the first Ghibli film I ever seen. I'm pretty much a "read whatever I'm feeling" kind of reader too. Right now, I'm 150 pages into Delores claiborn by Stephen King and I'm really enjoying it a lot; it's almost the same experience I had reading Dracula. Great to see a video from ya! 🙂

I just finished a cozy fantasy called "A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic". So cute- think Great British Bakeoff, but in a fantasy world with the cutest romance. Another on my list that I haven't gotten to yet is "A Pub in the Underworld". Both are on KU if you have it.

You should try Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries if you haven't already! Loved the coziness, but the Faerie magic was so cool and dark! And there's just tiny dash of romance too!

I liked natural beauty but didn’t love it - I feel like you’ll enjoy it though. It covers a lot which is where I struggled to follow it but I did think it was interesting.
