Jeesus Girl....Hendrix is the hardest stuff to respectfully play. You let just the right amount of your own thang into it... and yet totally channeled Jimi. For those of us pickers who came of age in those years, this stuff holds religious status. I know I, and slews of other like me are SO thrilled to see you be you.

I can't believe how many girls are playing guitar now days, and GOOD! WOW! So GREAT! I love it! It's your turn to do it. I remember the sexist 70's and you just practically never seen a girl doing this. They just sit and stare and tell me how good I was at it. Well, before my accident which left me in such a state that I had to re-learn it and actually even change my style. You see, I had damage to my cerebellum and it really messed up my coordination. I had to re-think my strategy. Prior to that, I was considered to be one of the best guitarists ever by people who heard me. I could play anything by anyone and that includes in the other genres too. That's way back when I was only around 14 years old. The accident happened when I was almost 17. It was hell going from being a guy who could do back flips, having a six pack, and being extremely popular with girls to a skinny little guy who could barely walk or do anything. But I still got the girls. LOL. If you think I'm kidding, check out my channel. I'm still good. Not like I was back in the old days, but still pretty good. When I was 14 I knew everything by Hendrix, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Floyd, Yes, and I could play like friggin' Chet Atkins too. But, drugs kicked my ass. I had a stoke when I was 16, and I was reduced to being a frail looking dude who barely weigh 98 lbs. I quit all that shit, and recovered, but it still took a major toll on me, and that's why I advise kids not to mess with drugs. Anyway, sorry for the story. I just can't believe how many girls are stepping up and really REALLY playing great. k peace!

I am 56 and remember me and my best friend sitting and listening to Jimi Hendrix for hours back in the late 70,s. I was obsessed with Hendrix . I learned to play the guitar because of him, but as I got older I never really pursued it enough to be as good as you. Now as I have been sitting here worried about the corona virus I Have been considering getting out my strat and relearning to play. Seeing you with all those Hendrix albums behind you has really inspired me, and makes me hopeful.

Hey, you should really do it. Due to several problems I stopped playing for a couple of years (yoo many). Then I felt the call again and a very good friend bought me a Hummingbird acoustic. I started playing everyday and, thanks to KZbin and the awesome people that share their knowledge I,m learning a lot. Last year I finally saved for a long time dream and bought a Gretsch. I,m having a blast and using this virus confinement to play and play without thinking of all the crap going around. Music is one of the greatest things in life so.... go for it!! @@ferpirata76 I know Spain is having issues with the virus nearly as bad as Italy. I hope you and your family do well. Also I think Spain and Italy are countries where people are more personal and hug and kiss more, I think it's a shame that more societies aren't more like that, except that now it may have contributed to the spread. I believe that's why here in Louisiana the cases are rising, because Cajun French are more personal. My Fathers side is Cajun, and part of my mothers.

@@texas1step Well, thats a very interesting part of he United States. Its not only beautiful, and with a special culture. You also live in a great music area. I only know New York, Chicago (I studied in Joliet) and Florida. Yes, you are right. One of the things that shocked me the most when I arrived there is how everyone is more independent. Kids had their own tv,s in their room, their phone (no mobiles back then in te 80,s) and everyone grew a bit distant from each other. I had the best childhood with a great, united and loving family. Now everything is changing, maybe because of all the movies and tv shows from the States, the new generations are really different and family arent as close but we still have a great social life, hang a lot in the strets etc. Mediterranean cultures are mostly open, fun and easy going. Anyway, I also hope you are all allright. Its very important to stay at home and if we go out, mantain the distance, wash hands etc. Ok, man, I almost wrote you a book here haha Stay well and all the best for you and your family (and dont forget about the guitar.
