Yes, I sign undet this too. The consistency over the past 6-7 momths has been so awesome and refreshing, since a lot of other boktubers either pulled down their videos or disappeared withoit a word :( I understand that they are 'only human' but so are their viewers... not saying even "bye" is quite disrespectful to ppl who have supported them for years. Anyways I so enjoy your videos, tje books you read and your thoughts on them. I hope you're not overtaxing yourself ❤❤❤

I don’t think you’ll end up loving The Farseer Trilogy if you continue. Hobb’s strength is in the quality of her prose and her amazing character work. I found Fitz very annoying at times but also an incredibly believable and well fleshed out character. I was not bored by the books because I was invested in the characters and politics of the world, but I think you need a faster pace and more plot focus, which Liveship Traders has, which is why you enjoyed it so much.

I think give it one more book. Royal assassin was my personal fave in that trilogy and you get introduced to a fan favorite character. I am not a Fitz stand but I will say by the end of the whole series I was shocked at how invested I was and the emotional pay off I felt. It was the exact opposite experience of Wheel of Time for me, where I put in work there and was let down

If you haven't read fantasy fiction Voyagers Of Hell yet, add it to your TBR. It's so awesome.

I really think your future self will be grateful to have continued the RotE, even if some of these earlier parts may be a bit boring. Book 2 is much more emotionally engaging, and I think that the other two trilogies following Fitz will be GOLD for you (and I am saying that as someone who isn't a big lover of Fitz as a protagonist!). Also, looooove to see The Final Strife gushing, that book really does deserve more hype! Hope June treats you well 🥰

Brittany: I hate characters like Rin that make dump decisions but I still love them Rin: goes on to destroy her reproductive system Gahh... I still can't get over that to this day despite the fact that I read that book four years ago. It was more mortifying than any of the grim dark post-war scenes tbh

The Dispossessed is the only book I’ve read by Le Guin so far, and it was the first book I finished this year. Couldn’t agree more with what you said about how she doesn’t tell you what to think while relentlessly confronting challenging themes and issues. Based on what you shared here, I have a feeling you’re not going to have a good time with Assassin’s Quest-it is a super slow burn with a rushed ending. 😬

Thanks for mentioning your thoughts on audio vs physical for The Three Body Problem series. I saw the audio available via the library but was worried it needed to be read physically

Literally just finished words of radiance and I loved it!! My jaw dropped in that epilogue with the final reveal… I will agree though that a lot of the interludes took me out of the story and I just wanted to get back to the main characters and plot! Still so good though 😍

Great reviews! Having read The Live Ship Traders trilogy, would you recommend starting there with Robin Hobb? I'm just a little scared I won't love Assassin's Apprentice. 😊 Read When The Moon Hatched in May based on your recommendation and really enjoyed it, so thank you. 😊

I felt similarly as you did with A River Enchanted. I think I have an unpopular opinion and didn’t like A Fire Enchanted. I picked up The Final Strife because of your vlog. Half way through atm. So thank you 😆❤️

I can totally love animals and eat them. It is in human nature to eat animals. No problem with it. Also I don't have the luxury to be vegan since I have many food intolerance to cereals.
