Thank you so so much for posting these videos for us all to benefit from. I'm a broke ass art student and these are an incredible supplement to the stuff I learn in school. Your beginner videos helped me a lot when I was first learning the program. Most tutorials of this quality you have to pay for. Again, Thank you for being so cool and sharing this.

@ time stamp 23:00, how would you trim any part of the overhead baggage compartment which protruded out of the aircrafts fuselage? Love your videos btw, thanks for uploading them :)
@frazermann14486 жыл бұрын
Face mode, shift and select the faces you need, edit mesh and "Delete edge/Vertex". There might be an easier way to do this but that seems to do what i was wanting :) Thanks again Mike for posting all these videos, they are the best learning source I've found on the entire Web. Hope you're having a great wknd, Happy Easter.

Hello Sir i really like your videos they among the most useful Maya tutorial I found. It's great that you always show us how to model a particular object based on somebody request or based on whatever you want to model for which I;m really thankful. But I've got one request maybe a little complex but very important i assume. Would you please show us how to model any object in general. I'm talking about the process of dissembling an object and start modeling. Because you don't maybe have time to model all of our object that we want to model, it would be nice if you could show us just in general based on your experience how can we get to that point where we're able to model ourselves. Let's say you have a model in front of you that you want to model. what's the most important approach to take before modeling, what it is that we need to pay intention to when modeling, what's the best way to approach an object when modeling. Thanks for this video again.

you are every time making copies of seats. in c4d, there is a cloner. is there any same king of object in maya?
@MHTutorials3D9 жыл бұрын
+Anup Kumar Malla I don't know the cloner in c4d so I wouldn't know
@KadwaSach3699 жыл бұрын
cloner is the object in which diff options are there to make multiple copies of an object(linearly or in a grid manner or in circular manner)
@infinitesimotel9 жыл бұрын
+Anup Kumar Malla Select the object and go to: Edit > Duplicate special (near the bottom of the list) then select the little square just to the right to open the options box. There you can do what you want.

Hello Mr Hermes. I recently bumped into your channel and I have to say that your tutorials are great and have helped me much. Do you work in the industry? Pixar, Disney, Bluesky?...great work thanks for the help.

Hi Sith War, No, I don't work for Pixar or Disney but I am glad you like my channel ! Mike

Mike Hermes I only ask because like yourself I want to learn and grow in this industry. I have followed some of your tutorials that have really helped me. Are you involved in ant projects? worked for game companies or animation houses? I am so hungry to learn this industry and want to learn from the best and do it right.
@MHTutorials3D10 жыл бұрын
sith war Hi Sith War, I have done some modeling for games, commercials, short films and so on but I can assure you that I am not "the best in the industry" If you want to get into the business then start by doing 2 things : 1. Get classes ( for example online www.digital-tutors.com or www.lynda.com ) 2. Practice, practice, practice every day of the week, day in day out, year after year. Mike
