This seems more like a video for white folk to learn our ways and try to move like us. We know enough of this already cause its in our being our dna.its how we live. Why watch something we already know bout??? Time for new knowledge and not them chicken george dance moves they barely pulled off. This aint teachin no real knowledge to help us advance. This for pink people. Who u think probably provides the camera and screen time?

@@vyizzyme everyone doesn't know. There are people raised away from the community. Its good for them. Even I was familiar with much of this but didn't realize the depth of the history of it.

I really enjoyed this video to observe #MayaAngelou's eloquence and articulation; as she takes us on a historical journey, of Africa's rooted, influence on dances and body language that are now a part of modern Black American society. She has such a passionate soul and I can't wait to see the other episodes to learn black history through her gifted, intelligence. RIP (Maya Angel)....🙏🏼💫💧

We must know our history because it gives us pride, perspective, n clearity. Maya explains so beautifuly the African crossover mannerisms n movements that we take for granted such rich culture that we need to continuously study n respect. Great series! Somethings i knew others i didnt we can all learn n grow no matter what age. Continuously a student until my last breath.

I also inspired Miriam makes with her songs of wisdom. you don't need. to be an africa to sing a language or talk it. it's true intriguing, judy carefully learn it and you be alright. thanks dr.maya.
