Hey Roland this is all great - I'm trying to make a nicer version of the maya measure tool. When I plugin in my position to print static then move the object, I seem to get a double translation or something. Adding an offset doesn't help as the farther I go the more offset it becomes. Any ideas? I'm technical enough to use bifrost but not technical enough to dive into compounds.

Hm, that sounds like when you move the locator you also have the Bifrost object selected and move them both? You should move only the locator. Did you plug in just the matrix? Or just the translate channel? Not both! Can you please check that?

@@RolandReyer No it's only the locator moving via the matrix. I have a cube plugged into the position as well and it behaves as expected. I'll move this to the BiFrost forum so I can post screenshots etc. Thanks. EDIT: I've found if I divide the position by two before plugging it into the print_static node it works as expected. So I have a work around. I'll post to the forum anyway as maybe I'm missing something.

To render the strands you need the node „set_Arnold_strands_settings“.
