You yourself just said ricky is wholesome but he currently works for Braille, a company that siphons skateboarding industry profits to scientology. the guy who owns it is not even under their thumb- he loves scientology and runs a large division in SF. The company recently had a scandal where a minor was harassed, and a lot of long term employees and talent left... but not ricky. Pobody's nerfect, see? I'm sure you and I could be made out as idiots if our lives were recorded. I just hope he gets twitch going. and Maya is kind for helping him.

@kane00000 I don't think he'd start streaming on Twitch if it wasn't for Maya. And if he did, he probably wouldn't keep it up because the skating and livestreaming community is very different. Maya just introduced his personality to a huge audience which gives Ricky the support to continue streaming. He didn't NEED her help, but it certainly gave him an easier time haha. He's a good lad, has always been entertaining.

@@rawrbrz It seems as if the cult-ure... has affected him in a positive way though. I feel like there's things lining up in my head about how it works. Get a lot of people hooked on your education due to lack of self-confidence, while using the successful scientologists to preface their entire culture money scheme. Though, is it that bad? Christianity and Islam, legit created mass genocide and terror for thousands of years in the name of the same sheep herding tactics. It may start with needing direction, but then quickly you depend on the direction to give you meaning in life, which is supposed to come from within yourself, not be told to you, and manipulated for financial gains. It's human nature, as we have been bread to follow the leader since the beginning times. Some of us are warriors, and some of us are not. Some will bow, and others with fight. It's just our nature.

Funny to hear Maya repeating how Ricky keeps making friends so easily, little does she know thats how the vibe often is hanging out at a skatepark ! Bring your board and start practicing , always make sure to check your surroundings and be aware of how others are skating the park, especially when you are a beginner its easy to get in peoples way by accident, but I really think it only takes a little bit of hanging out and understanding hows the flow of people riding in the park, and you can find a peaceful place to practice ! Talking with other skaters and asking for tips is a good way to make friends too !

I love Ricky man! Miss him on Braille. I cannot believe Maya of all people got him to stream. MUCH LOVE RICKY AND MAYA! Once he gets to more viewers, it would be amazing to get him a small drone to follow him around all day! That would be SICKKKK! Also, get him setup with a few hotkeys on his phone for, say, a BRB screen, and maybe stuff like the John Cena, DOO DOO DOO DOOOOO! i dont know how well streaming skating will go once u hit a certain popularity u start getting haters and trolls. If a group of trolls decide to just go to the park he is skating at they could make it so he cant do a live broadcast. I guess theres always private skate parks, buddies backyard ramps or even the braille house tho im not sure they may have a policy against record stuff there thats not for the channel.

the thing about kick flips is if you dont get it right away ull never get it its not a skill thing its a scared thing theres only a few people in this world who can trust the board and know it will catch them the rust of us cant get over the fact we have to put our trust in the board being under us so its a lack of confidence and basicly ur too much of a scardy cat to ever land one its not a skill issue its a mental issue go to tearapy find out why u cant trust is the deeper issue and once u get over ur fear it will come naturally the kick flips i can tell u do the kick flip then bch out in the middle of it never landing it u have to have confidense and know u might fall but dont be scared

Just don't wanna sell Ricky short, plus he just started the whole streaming thing so of course his stuff is gonna be kind of lackluster. The whole skateboarding community in a whole is very small and niche when it comes to content creators and "streamers". Braille being like the largest skateboarding shit on the internet and it's currently falling apart so people are finding other avenues to stay relevant and keep earning money. I love to see most of them exploring other options.

I've skated for half of my life, over 15 years and know/watch plenty of pro skaters and I had never even heard of Ricky. There are so many pro skaters now it's impossible for all of them to get recognition, him trying to get into streaming will only help that.
