Mayakashi is one of the decks that I learned that using Maxx 'C' is absolutely terrifying to use against, the others being Synchron and Six Samurai for their ridiculous ways to special summon spam and negate whatever counter you have available. That said I can't ignore the fact that Yuki-Onna's Link monster arts are just beautiful yet deceptively scary given how she can stop or at least slow down many decks due to meta decks also tending to rely on summoning monsters from the GY to keep their combos going. Blue-Eyes, Predaplant, Despia-Branded, HERO, Edlich, Six Samurai and many Dragon Decks use GY summoning methods (or GY effects) and are pretty common at various times.

Using Raiden Shogun's theme is kinda ironic considering both Yuki-Onna and the Raiden Shogun persued one form of eternity. Yuki-Onna wanted to plunge the whole world into an eternal night and the Shogun wanted to halt all progress

someone almost decked me out using soul absorbing bone tower they kept resummoning dakki after using it to synchro which mill my deck i would have lost if i wasnt playing a zombie deck as well they left me with 2 cards

The only thing that keeps me from using this deck more often is the synchro climbing. It takes so long. 30% of the duels I win are because my opponent leaves halfway through my combo.

I would suggest running a copy of shiranui sovereignsaga as it can convert those syncs in grave to to pops on the opponents board, all you need is one unizombie for setup on your next turn.

16:19 Yuki-Musume can be special summoned and dump a zombie if any Mayakashi card is face-up on the field, that includes the Mayakashi Winter you had on hand. The better play would have been activating Winter, Special Summoning Yuki and dumping a Zombie, say, Mezuki, and only then using Winter to Draw 1. You get to keep your Normal Summon and have a chance of drawing a Play starter.

or u could discard mezuki and special summon the jack o bolan and use yuki to send daki and with mezuki summon, here we have 2 options, they negate yuki, or the mezuki, in either case we can synchro summon from lvl 9 to link 4, which is wut id do edit: if they negate the mezuki, hope for a tuner cuz at this point u have to send yuki to grave with the spell

Dakki links with the synchro 11 into a link 2 then you can resummon Dakki and go into the link 3 without requiring the small one that revives from the graveyard and then goes into the link 4. Also the link 3 has a GY effect

Depends on your extra deck if you don’t play a certain number of any of them losing a one off stops you from climbing

Highly dependent on the build, some builds are fully stopped by losing the lvl 3s and 5s, some don't give a damn and are actually grateful you'd waste resources on their ED.

@@bluewolves90 ehh not really like tear. Tears get effects when sent to the graveyard and Mayakashi synchros get effect when special'd from the graveyard. Firstly you'll need to managed to dumb the synchros in the grave which means you need to play through disruptions and second you can only special summon 5 from the graveyard unlike tears which can trigger every name in their deck But yeah tears with a mezuki/gozuki sounds annoying
