​@@GuitarGirl4ever Yeah, I think it was "special guest" like thing, they didn't seem to have worked, I've read Sander provided something to Death of a Dream too (Epica's), don't know, but.. Sander seem to be absent from doing any major work, so are other members of AF, and I really wish they'd write something together, I really wish they'd get success as Floor has been given. I think especially Sander, because I think he was behind most of AF music, because it was so incredible - powerful yet catchy yet serious; had a quick glance on his works that followed AF - and that doesn't seem to be 'it'...

@@FirstnameLastname-py3bc Yeah for sure. I know when Mark left After Forever, Sander and I think Joost took over most of the writing? When Sander left AF I don't remember who did most of the writing, the drummer maybe? But I do know for a fact Joost is doing a lot of production stuff. He's doing Epica's current album. Would be nice to see a reunion of some kind one of these days.

They really need to combine goods of the two - Epica is way more sophisticated, way more elegant in a sense, a lot more into composition, and it's extremely lacking on live shows(half of the music is chorus and choir), while AF had - well - they were absolute blast live;

I've always loved the way he turns when Floor chimes in. Lol. So many comments about Floor. But in all honestly I think the Mayan project as a whole is awesome and there were many great elements here.
