Her only mistake was saying that “what we do is nothing special.” I think we would all agree that what they do with the cotton they grow, & their entire natural eco friendly way to doing & color their thread is beyond most people’s ability! Yet alone, memorize & weave intricate stories that are significant to their ancestral & current history! Their work is as beautiful as is humanly possible!! They may do it as part of their everyday routine & chores because that’s what they do in order to create all their own clothes & utilitarian cloths & pieces, but it is beyond EXTRAORDINARILY! Therefore, it is SPECIAL!!! Thank you to Miss Sheba Valasco for her demonstration & her presentation! She’s a National Treasure who not shares her Beaty in the US!! We are very fortunate, indeed!!
