The problem really came from Alvarez. The Mayans never should’ve got into working with the Cartel. Alvarez leaving creates a power vacuum and Bishop wasn’t right to lead the Mayans. It would have been smarter if the Club itself voted for a new El Padrino in a fair election among all officers of the Mayans MC

Santo Padre is the poisonous charter. Don’t forget they targeted the Vatos Malditos which led to the Vatos retaliating leaving Riz wounded. They weren’t even planning on going to war but Taza killing Riz and making it seem like Riz was killed from the Vatos attack started all this madness we see now. Santo Padre should’ve been taken out at the start of season 4 but Alvarez came and saved them. I love Quinn’s line about Mayans kill each other more than the sons kill them.
