Maya 101 - Fundamentals 06 - Introduction to the Hypershade

I'm new to 3d modeling. I have watched tons of these tutorial videos in here, but I have to say your tutorials are the most easy to understand and follow through! You don't often use those confusing words to explain a simple concept like others. Hypershade was one of the concept that confused me the most, and I think I got a pretty good idea what it is now after watching this!! Thank you so much!

Thanks for the video! I'd like to see more examples of more complex ways of work in Hypershade. For example: how to find all objects where a certain material is applied? How to do the opposite? How to re-use the same texture in multiple materials? How to duplicate a material? What adjustments can be applied to textures inside Maya (invert, desaturate, blend, tweak contrast and brightness, hue?). What about normal maps? How to correctly invert them? I'd really appreciate if you created a more in-depth video on things like that. Thanks!
