When I'm out n about I pack my lunch. I started that riding the bus. My go to was a can of mt. Dew n a little debbie brownie n it's cheaper t buy those at Walmart n pack them than get them out. I got a milk at like a single serve milk from the transit bus station store, not a jug, like 16 oz. It was almost 2$.....n the situation I was in, I needed every penny. Plus sometimes I just needed lunch out n about. But now when i go do laundry at a mat i take lunch b/c it takes me 3-4 hrs. No skipping meals. Ice packs for sandwiches or something like salsa or tomato sandwiches. Or lettuce. Ice packs are crucial sometimes. Water or a drink. Lunch box.

I got on birth control, not b/c I was sexually active, but to help regulate my hormones b/c in my mid 20s. 20-23 I had terrible mood swings. Several attempts to take the pills correctly cannot take them properly to save my life. So I got the shot. I like the shot, you get it every 3 months.

I switched from the pill to the depo shot for birth control and it was seamless for me and I enjoy it a lot more. I don’t get my period at all which I fucking love obviously but like I don’t think we know exactly if there are long term consequences to that and I have no idea what would happen if I got off of it 😬 it’s convenient but research should be done obvs

THERE ARE DEFINITELY LONG TERM CONSEQUENCES. Please don't stay on depo for longer than 2-3 years, your bones will become dust. Your doctor should have made that very clear when you started taking it. Stay safe 🙏

​@MotherOfSuck I've been on the depo for 12 years and my bones are fine. Worst side effect I've had is probably weight gain but doesn't help that I don't eat amazingly and I'm pretty sedentary at work and at home.

Spoiled milk in potatoes 🤔. I used to make this thing where you slice potatoes and onions and cover in olive oil and yogurt. Then you get the oven screaming hot and riiiiight before you throw them in, you squeeze a lemon and it curdles the milk and makes magic oven cheese science. Maya. DO IT!!!! 😂

there’s this completely vegan sushi place near me that doesn’t do like what maya described they do like imitations of traditional sushi and it’s sooooo good very authentic and a good price. my mom said their about the same prices as the sushi place her and my dad go to, which uses real fish but the rolls are half as big in both length and individual roll size
