Maybe One of These Will Be In 4.0! | No Man's Sky 2022

There's no doubt Switch players will be pretty excited come Friday, October 7 (2022). The long-awaited update 4.0 will drop for most and probably a week later for Xbox players ---- I really hope this is a joke.
I decided to sneak in one final list of recommendations to our beloved Hello Games Founder, Sir Sean Murray. That's right, Sean....you have been anointed 'Sir' by the Knights of the Whisky Barrel. With any luck, maybe one or two of these might find their way into this update! Fingers and toes are crossed.
No Man's Sky is an exploration survival game developed and published by Hello Games. Through the game's procedural generation system, planets have their own ecosystems with unique forms of flora and fauna, and various sentient alien species may engage the player in combat or trade within planetary systems.

Excellent video Taylor I agree with basically everything you said. One thing I'd like added is the ability to put our bases in any order we want at the teleporter and being able to delete them from there would be great

A way to swap the view mode on all the ship models so we could see their different states would definitely be a welcomed addition. Not just the solar ship sails when you're buying one, but in any menu that uses that type of display. Living ships and exotics in both standing and flying mode, as well as atmospheric mode for solar ships.

For stone windows: wire glitch wooden windows in with stone arches, they're quite nice. (And now with control over contextual models, it's so much easier)

Yup agree with those 20, it would be paradise! It is possible to add the spots to exocraft, and I've done this using a certain editing tool to max out the spots. Great video, always makes me chuckle watching yours.

Wooh, glad I'm not the only one who wants to see the names people come up with! Gnarly Davidson is genius by the way. I however am most hopeful for your window suggestion, and the suspended regrowth inside bases. I'm dreaming of a cave base!!! My one hopeful change not mentioned is simply damage rebalance, make the verse a little more threatening for us further along. S class video Taylor!!!

Great list! Naming saves is SOOO overdue, and I really can’t even fathom how the refiners face backwards and somehow the developers are just okay with that? 🤷🏻‍♂️ And yes, windows are all way too small, except the timber ones. They give us these amazing planets with gorgeous views, and if we build walls, we can’t SEE any of it. 🙄

I'm looking forward to more updates, this is my first update I've actually seen so I'm hyped regardless, I want to automatically put stuff in the cargo area... I hate when it says inventory full but my cargo area has plenty of space. I'm looking forward to all the new updates I'm gonna get to see, I just hope the updates don't stop soon... There's still so much to add!

They should add a "probe" in the freighter so you can send it to a certain planet in a high speed and you receive a small clip our image of that planet so you don't have to go running every planet to see if you like the terrain etc

This list was the biggest piece of paradise I've ever seen! Just kidding, I absolutely agreed with everything. One specific change that I think is the most important by far was number 12. I played another game called "Satisfactory" with a very similar building system. When they changed it to allow you to select multiple building pieces and also to drag out rows or columns of multiple walls and floors it was one of the biggest game changers ever. I had actually scoffed at that update initially but quickly started considering it as the best change ever once I saw how quickly building projects could be created or fixed.

I'd like to see the Exo-Craft have the ability to be become damaged by hostile attacks, whether it's from NPCs, Sentinels or other players. Having Mechs and the Exos being able to battle in a PvP setting would be awesome.

Great video! It would be so much fun to see other players ship names (#20). BTW, love your Gnarley Davidson exocraft!!!! I’d also like to be able to abandon my settlement. It popped up way too soon (didn’t know what it was) and the planet I’m stuck with is dreadful. It would be much more fun to be able to pick a new planet. Then, let pirates or storms wreak havoc so the player can reconstruct with a totally different layout (I HATE my settlement layout & planet, so I never go there.) With some tweaking it could add another fun dimension to the gameplay.

That's a great list. I really just want a quick hold down d-pad button to quickly swap from 1st to 3rd person and visa versa I like using controller on my steam version of the game and having to keep going into the quick menu bar is kind of a pain in the ass.

It would be nice to customize our ships. It would be nice to put something in my freighter's refiner or any refiner fly around the universe and come back and still have that stuff be there when I come back.

agree with basically all your points.. I've been caught by the profanity filter as well, apparently my very name (same as my YT name here) was considered profane, so yeah... something very wrong with that "filter." I've had a personal gripe with the fact we end up using the General tab for technologies... I know it's practical but completely defeats the logic of using your slots to actually store stuff you pick up here and there and instead, tech and their modules... whilst the Tech tab itself is pretty restricted. Easy logical solution there.

How about instead of getting rid of the distance the fly trap hits you how about make up a trippy sci fi reason why. Maybe it's sending some kinda sonic pulse that hits you from a distance. Or something else interesting. And gas pods or any of the others put some in clumps but less overall. They seem to be spreading spores. It could be a reason for patches or them in a small area. New types of hazards, plants or other stuff, would be nice too.
