Hey Brett & Mel, Thanks for showing us around Innes National Park, the beaches and the historic village. Looks like a lovely NP. Hope the weather and the bees didn’t spoil it. All the best to Kaylee and Owen for the new school year. Enjoy your travels, stay safe, and see you next week. Lyn ❤️

Hey guys, thanks for taking us on a tour of Innes National Park - your campsites, the stunning beaches, and the charming historic village were great to see. It looks like a beautiful spot! Hope the weather and those bees didn’t put a damper on things. Oh, and those burrito wraps looked delicious! Looking forward to the next one. Take care and stay safe. Kind regards, Corrie.

Lots to see & do therein the National Park. Shame about the bees & wet weather. Good to see Kaylee & Owen excited about being back at School! Not many places in the world like Australia where you can have a whole beach to yourself! Keep on Living the Dream. Look forward to your next adventure in SA. Luv Mum🥰

@susannlynchyzus8664 it's a beautiful part of the world. We diddnt even show the worst of the bees. We had them swarming our car one day, 100's of them. They were trying to get to the water in my water tank.

Just found your channel and I agree Innes national national park is expensive compared to along the Murray. Actually to price you paid is for 2 vehicles which is still expensive. Beautiful place.

Was there a few days ago. The bees are insane 😮. Even with a water bucket for them they somehow got in our van at Gym Beach so we bailed out & moved to Stenhouse. Great spot
@SvedosTrippin13 сағат бұрын
yeah we didn't show it, but we visited Ethel beach on a hot day and the bees swarmed my car (would of been close to 1000) trying to get into the water tank. I had to jump in in alone on the passenger side where there were less bees climb across and drive down the road and back to loose them so the rest of the family could get in. It certainly a bit of a problem down there.
@BenBirks12 сағат бұрын
@ Had the same at Ethel. Soon as we parked they swarmed. Attracted to any kind of moisture inc A/C condensation

@@johnrichardson5496 yep same, I’ve picked up a few purchases from suggestions (eg bluetti) but it’s when you see some doing ‘reviews’ of vans they’re received free or heavily discounted. That’s when I unsubscribe.

I love that park. I hiked it as a scout 30 years ago. my daughter is heading out there for a scout camp this weekend. I know our park fees are crazy, but that have been improving facilities across all our parks. Keep enjoying our great state.

@johnrichardson5496 it's a beautiful part of the world that's true. But as for what parks are doing down there and their management of the placeI feel they could do better, heres what we observed. $15 a car entry fee and camping was expensive relative to what the council campgrounds charge over the the Yorke. Many signs were unreadable, not just the one we pointed out. No bins were provided (someone had even left a bag of rubbish in the bush behind one of our camps, no doubt because there are no bins). The nearest dump point is 120km round trip as with water. It's the local councils of towns like Marion Bay and Warooka that have to pay for the septic and rubbish that is generated in the N.P. while the N.P. takes the money for people to visit. There is also a serious feral bee issue. Is it being managed at all because it diddn't seem like it? They have no simple permit system for responsible and licensed drone flyers like N.T does, I wasn't able to obtain a permit, while in NT it's a simple form done online and approved in days. I mea, no offenc, and we love SA, but I just can't see where they are reinvesting this money.
@johnrichardson549613 сағат бұрын
If they had more transparency about where fees were going and that they were being invested properly. I know some parks have had major revamps with more long drops and camping facilities. I also know our park fee have increased way more than cpi in the last 3 years.

it is also unfortunate that our current govt has changed funding priorities. the previous govt spent a lot on environment interaction.

C'mon SA!! A few hundred bucks and get some proper signage and some large bins near NP entrances. A simple and cheap investment that'll pay-off big time! Some beautiful coastline that forms SA's intriguing history. Makes you appreciate the comforts of today! Awesome way to educate the kids on life too, hats off to you guys! Here's another joke - How do you make dog meow? Freeze it and run it through a bandsaw....mneow! Sorry, not sorry!
@SvedosTrippin14 сағат бұрын
@chrishoffman8619 omg, I cannot tell kaylee that joke, but I nearly woke everyone up reading it. Your right about SA parks though, they take alot of money and provide nothing with it. No bins in the park, serious feral bee issue that doesn't seem to be managed. Half the info boards are unreadable. No simple way to get a drone permit. Terrible parking and access points to some of the beaches. They really do need to pull their finger out.
