I'm not an Arsenal fan but I have to admit refereeing standard is terrible at the moment. I used to feel bad for refs as they have a difficult job but I've seen bad decision after bad decision recently. I watch League One games sometimes and the referees are pretty bad in L1 too, wouldn't expect it from the top league however. Don't know what is going on they need to sort it out, isn't just for Arsenal though almost all teams get decisions against them. Not a fan of Var at all either it has ruined this league.

My personal feeling is Arsenal are not getting the breaks you need to win the title. The goal disallowed at the end and all the red cards proves that this season. In this game Diaz kicked the ball away twice to delay a restart as well as Nunez with no booking? You need to look at refs from a higher perspective, before the game even starts. The main issue is, why was Taylor appointed for this game when is now already officiated Liverpool 3 times in 9 games this season? 3 times the same team, could happen at the end of a season, not the 9th game. A third of the games the same ref? How is this not matchfixing? Why there are no refs from London? Why a Newcastle fan is appointed to officiate Arsenal when they’re level on point with Newcastle? Why a Liverpool fan is appointed at VAR before Arsenal-Liverpool? Why a Preston-based referee is appointed at VAR before Preston-Arsenal? Why Manchester-based refs are appointed to officiate top-table fixtures? Then in this game… How have Diaz and Nuñez together made 15 fouls, including a charge on Raya, before Nuñez was finally booked? What about the time-wasting? The last minute corner?

There is no point in us trying to win the Premier League, the referees won't allow it due to the corruption. I've been watching this corruption for 3 decades, incredible to me that some fans are only just finding their voice about it. We have been playing against the referees 9/10 matches in the Premier League for 30+ years whilst other teams get assistance, for a long time it was Man Utd, then Chelsea and now City, Tottenham too (not that it matters) and Liverpool in the past also got favoured over us of course. Football is dead, the love of my life has been destroyed by corruption and I've become apathetic. Maybe we should just try and win the Champions League, if Barcelona aren't still buying off the refs which has cost us winning it in the past as well.

Curtis saying we don’t need attackers is quite possibly the worst take I’ve ever heard from him….this was a 5-2 match with a half-decent striker….Havertz missed ANOTHER 4-5 golden chances. He was pathetic. On the pitch, HE lost it…with Gyokeres or any actual striker, we win that easily. Though the fact he was left on for the full 90 is the bigger problem. Any intelligent manager doesn’t take off his two best attacking threats in Saka and Martinelli and leave on a negative in Havertz. Any intelligent manager doesn’t wait until 85 minutes and after the equalize to bring fresh legs on when it’s blatant they’re tired.
