I had not started into crazy ex girlfriend until season 2. What sold me instantly was during a SiriusXM interview with Rachel Bloom, they played this song. There is so much to love about this song. Donna's incredible comedic flair, her near perfect old school Disney princess warble. But for me the truly best part is the end when it jumps seamlessly from funny to candidly serious "Maybe this dream will finally make me feel like I deserve a dream". God it's not fair! How dare you get me from being in stitches to fighting back tears in a heartbeat. We all love you so much Donna.

This show is really good at that! Like when Rebecca comes out of the bedroom butt naked, ready to make the porn film, but then Paula calls her out and she admits that she doesn’t care what will happen to herself, because she’s so depressed. They make you LOL only to punch you in the stomach with an emotional moment in the next scene.

When I saw Crazy Ex Girlfriend for the first time I thought Donna would be another Melissa Mccarthy giving "inclusion" and absurd humor to the program but I was completely wrong, Donna is a goddess, very talented in every way, her personality and charm she transfers from her person to the character of Paula, who btw is the best character of all and I wish everyone could have a Paula in their life
